In a story taking place prior to the original Jack Ryan stories, Ryan is a young stock broker working for a billionaire in Moscow before joining the CIA. When the billionaire he is advising frames him for a terrorist plot and kidnaps his wife, Ryan must race against time to clear his name, stop the plot, and save his wife.

Ugh, I like everyone involved in the movie but it just seems so generic and boring. I hope it's better than the trailer makes it look.

The only thing interesting in this movie for me is that it's directed (and stars) Kenneth Branagh and it's written by David Koepp.

Looks good to me. I just have trouble seeing Keira in anything where she isn't wearing a corset
