ANT-MAN Star Paul Rudd Likely To Appear In More AVENGERS Movies Following Upcoming Threequel

We shouldn't be surprised in some ways, but a new report indicates that Scott Lang will emerge from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania able to fight another day, likely in the next two Avengers movies...

Heading into Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, it feels a lot like Marvel Studios is hoping we'll believe the end is nigh for Scott Lang. After all, he's facing his greatest challenge yet in Kang the Conqueror, and the pint-sized adventurer looks set to be seriously outgunned when they square off in the Quantum Realm.

Trailers featured at events like Comic-Con and D23 have shown Scott looking beaten and bloodied, increasing speculation that he might not emerge from this fight in one piece.

Recently, The Hollywood Reporter shared a list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the Film Industry. Among them is lawyer Deborah Klein, who counts Samuel L. Jackson and Rudd among her clients. The trade notes that in the latter's case, there's "more Ant-Man and Avengers" on the horizon for him.

This all but confirms Scott will return in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, no great surprise when he'll be one of the only heroes who has a history with the time-travelling villain when he looks to conquer Earth-616.

Of course, the hero won't be alone because The Wasp and Cassie Lang will join him on this trip into the Quantum Realm. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne will also be key to this story, though with Kang looking to break free of that mysterious universe, we have a feeling not everyone will make it out alive!

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.

Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce, and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.

That is all.

Was this ever in doubt? Unless people believe he's going to be killed by Kang in his own movie.

No one was expecting him to die in the movie. And they already tempted his life by way of him getting stuck in The Quantum Realm the first time, so there's no need to build that particular tension. He'll clearly have a part to play informing others about Kang.

I dont expect Rudd to die in this. But I do kind of think either Janet or Hank will bite the dust.

@xHollywoodx - I feel that Hank is much more likely to die and Janet will probably become a teacher for Avengers Academy or something like that.

Give Ant-Man and the Wasp two more trilogies and two Disney+ specials.

Would be interesting if he becomes trapped in the Quantum Realm by Kang at the end. Then he only is able to escape later thanks to the Fantastic Four in their movie.

Considering a lot of these solo movies exist as vehicles for the character to appear in Avengers movies, I mean...yea..lol
