AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Is Officially Rated PG-13 - Here's What You Should Expect

As expected, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA but what's the movie done to earn that? While there are no spoilers after the jump, we do get some hints about what to expect.

There's a little over two weeks to go until Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters and the movie has today been given an official rating by the MPAA. As expected, it's going to be PG-13 but this news hardly comes as a surprise considering the fact every single Marvel Studios movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned the same classification. However, what exactly has the movie done to earn that?

Well, according to this rating, we should expect "Intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, language and some crude references." Once again, none of that should come as a shock to fans but the crude references and strong language should be fun (?) to try and spot in the film!

Despite the fact that Deadpool is on his way to the MCU, there's still no sign of Disney giving an R-Rated superhero adaptation the green light in the near future, especially not when they've found so much success with their PG-13 offerings. There's a chance that could change one day, though, but anyone hoping Avengers 4 might feature blood, guts, and foul language will surely be disappointed.

I had the most amazing oatmeal this morning. What made it so good? I ate it out of an Avengers bowl. Can't wait for the premiere!

I know it would never happen, but how crazy would it have been if it got rated R?

Who'd expect anything different?

BTW the whole "Deadpool won't be greenlit cause it's R" sounds really dumb.

If it makes money they'll greenlight it, even if they create a different branch studio name for it.

@Fogs - the Disney head said they were bringing Deadpool over into the MCU R rating an all.
