Star of both Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as one of the many stars of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War; Chris Pratt previously stated that the upcoming Marvel blockbuster will be "the biggest movie of all time," and his confidence on the matter hasn't wavered in the slightest.

In a recent interview with HollywoodXYZ, alongside his co-star Zoe Saldana, Pratt made it clear that no matter how high fans' expectations may be, the film will rise up to meet them.

This was a monumental undertaking. Shooting these films with the amount of cast members that are in it, the level of secrecy, and the lock and key under which the script was kept, the Russo brothers did an amazing job.

Ten years in the making. 18 films, all leading up to this. It was unreal. I mean, they're sort of embargoing everything and not letting us say anything, because I think that they know what they have.

So I can say in terms of expectations, you can raise them as high as you want, they will be met with this film.

In another recent interview with FOX 5 DC, Pratt was asked about one particular moment involving his character which features in promotional material for Infinity War. The interviewer argued that it looked like Star-Lord was attempting to give the middle finger - and Pratt essentially confirmed the speculation.

Maybe it’s because, you know, trailers fall under a different rating system than a movie. I might be able to do one thing in a movie that I wouldn’t be able to do in a trailer for a movie. I haven’t seen the outcome, but spoiler alert, I think you’re going to get the middle finger.

Do you believe in the actor's reassurance that the movie will live up to its massive expectations? Are you excited to see the un-censored version of that scene? You can check out the full interview below:

I'm actually getting legitimately scared. I don't know what to expect. I don't know how to process this moment right now. I believe I'll have butterflies walking into that theater.

This movie was announced almost 4 years ago. Every movie I've went to go see has built to this moment-and next years- how can I temper expectations?

How can I not expect the heroes to win but at the same time thanos to win? I am confused, I'm not being dramatic, and I am not afraid to admit that.

@LaserKing - but it's sooo hard. They could have just surprised us and released the movie tomorrow. Just at the end of a TV spot "go the theaters now" lol

It's just weird. I've never followed a movie so shrouded in secrecy. I've heard directors like Nolan are like this but I've never been invested enough to follow his movies. They've created fake scripts and actually filmed fake scenes to throw people off. What type of curb ball are they about to throw at us? But then it's like what if it's a by the numbers movie? Man f it I'm a stop typing lol

@MyCoolYoung - I honestly wish all the movies had this level of secrecy. I am more interested because of the fun game they are playing with us. I like that reviews are not out. I like that we have seen very little. I like that the snipers are out in full force. It just feels different and I like it!!!

@LaserKing - maybe that's what It is. It feels different and I've never had to go through this. I didn't follow comic book movies to this extent until the first avengers movie.

I use to watch them all but I never use to go to websites and forums. As I got adjusted to these movies and forums I got use to this wealth of knowledge and leaks that I think I've grown to expect it all.

If I see any footage from the trailers and tv spots, all my expectations will have been met. I don't expect any surprises.
