AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR's Anthony Mackie Says The Script For The Climactic Battle Sequence Was 25 Pages Long

Avengers: Infinity War star Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, recently revealed that the film's final fight sequence was 25 pages long.

ABC's Good Morning America asked Mackie if he was privy to the full classified script, considering most of the film's stars were only given portions.

Mackie admitted:

I got 25 pages, which was the final fight sequence. And I sent a long email, like, 'this movie is going to be awful, how does this work, there's no story, this is gonna be the longest fight sequence ever.

Generally speaking, the rule of thumb for screenplays is that one page equals one minute of screen time, which means we could be in for a near-30 minute action-packed climax.

With Falcon taking part in multiple fight scenes with Thanos' accomplices, including the afformentioned Battle of Wakanda, you may think he'd be in the thick of danger - Mackie thinks otherwise. The actor went on to have some fun explaining why he thinks that Falcon is totally safe from being killed off - whereas his co-star and friend Sebastian Stan's character is not.

I think Falcon falls into 'you're totally safe,' because I fly. So the fact that I fly puts me above all the danger. So I can just grab Cap and get outta there, whereas if you're the Winter Soldier, you're done for, man. You're in the thick of it, there's no way outta that.

What do you think about the actor's comments? Do you think the Battle of Wakanda will be 25 minutes long, or possibly even longer? Do you think Falcon will make it out of the film unscathed?

Nice. In screenplays 1 page is equal to about 1 minute of run time. That's about a 25 minute action scene!
