It Sounds Like We Should Brace Ourselves For A Lot Of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Deleted Scenes

Marvel Studios always provides us with at least a few deleted and extended scenes when their movies are released on Blu-ray and Avengers: Infinity War will obviously be no exception. Bear in mind that the culmination of ten years of storytelling is going to be huge and despite that lengthy running time, there are bound to be some character moments and scenes which failed to ultimately make the final cut.

Now, Joe and Anthony Russo have revealed that we should definitely expect to see a fair bit of extra material when Infinity War hits DVD and Blu-ray later this year due to the sheer size of the movie.

"We were very tight with the scripts on Winter Soldier and Civil War, so there weren’t a lot of extras," Joe explained when Digital Spy asked the filmmaker about the extra content fans should expect to see. "This is a very big movie with a lot of characters in it, and we played around with a lot of
improvisation, because we had new chemistry that we were defining between characters."

"It was the first time ever that all these characters were on screen together, so we played around with quite a bit of footage, and I think there will be some good stuff for the DVD," he promised.

What sort of additional scenes do you guys hope to see when Avengers: Infinity War hits stores?

@Kyos - I heard they've been fired and Zack Snyder has been brought in to finish the movie.

At that point it would be a power move by a Disney that has become so powerful and bloated the mouse begins to statt dragging his balls on other properties for fun, even if it wastes money.

Also, I really dig the costumes. Cap looks so cool in that pic and it's cool to see the exolution of his suits from the colorful one in Avengers to this tattered and muted one. Kinda reflects his character as well.
The only one I'm not digging is the new Black Panther suit. It really needs a belt or something to break it up. The one in Civil War was a lot better. Oh well, I'm done now

I swear WW3 better not start until after Avengers 4.

Yet another example of how Warner Brothers stifled the creative genius of Zack Snyder. It's really unfair how this auteur has been treated. Release the Snyder Cu-

Oh wait...

While a lot of Marvel Studios seems to be a well-oiled machine, I think people don't give enough credit to their editing process. Movies like Civil War were apparently fairly locked in, while movies like Age of Ultron and Ant-Man were seemingly a lot more fluid. And they pretty much it work, regardless.

Extra material always makes my mouth water, but I come down on the side of preferring tighter constraints. When you shoot too much material, I think there's just too much temptation to offer people an open-face sausage because you're just too damn proud of some arc or gag to lose it for the sake of holistic strength. That said, the Russos got the Midas touch, so I'm not too worried.

This is to be expected with such a massive movie and the scale of it. Civil War and TWS were tightly run...but this...this is something else all together.

I ususally wait for these movies to go down in price before I buy (waited until Black Friday 2016 to get Civil War on Blu-Ray, as it was $8) but with this movie, I'm getting it the day it comes out! lol
