Marvel Releases Even More New SPOILER-Filled Ultra Hi-Res Photos From AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
With Avengers: Infinity War now out in theaters, Marvel Studios has released ten additional promotional stills, in full ultra hi-resolution, featuring a look at some of the film's most pivotal moments!
As Avengers: Infinity War continues to absolutely decimate the box office, already well past $780 million worldwide ($282.4M domestic, $502.5M foreign), Marvel Studios has started to share even more awesome promotional stills from their latest game-changing blockbuster.
We saw ten last week and now ten more have been released in beautiful hi-resolution, so check out all twenty new shots below:

Better late than never. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) finally arrives on the battlefield and delivers a devastating blow to Thanos' (Josh Brolin) horde of Outriders, which leaves Okoye (Danai Gurira) questioning what one of the most powerful Avengers was doing on the sidelines. Unfortunately, however, her presence wasn't enough to stop the Mad Titan from enacting his will.
One of the earliest shots we get of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the movie, shortly after he decimated Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) ship. It's a strong entry for easily the most dangerous villain in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as he quickly takes down the God of Thunder, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Heimdall (Idris Elba), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) without breaking a sweat. He ultimately acquires the Space Stone and blows the ship to Kingdom Come. Let's just hope Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg (Taika Waititi) made it out alive.
One of the most devastating moments in the entire film as Nebula (Karen Gillan) comes to the tragic realization that Thanos (Josh Brolin) has already killed Gamora (Zoe Saldana) in order to obtain the Soul Stone. Gillan delivers an especially strong performance here as she realizes just how far her adoptive father is willing to go and her face is more than enough to help Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) also slowly realize what's happened to his lady love, which causes him to make an extremely boneheaded decision just a few short moments later.
Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Vision (Paul Bettany) make their way home to the New Avengers Facility where they receive a warm welcome from War Machine (Don Cheadle). While Team Cap essentially received the short end of the stick in the first part of this epic finale, expect Steve and Nat to have a much bigger role to play in the final battle next year.
Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) is shown here aboard the ship carrying him, Groot (Vin Diesel), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to Nidavellir where they go to meet Eitri (Peter Dinklage) and get a new weapon for the God of Thunder. In a shocking twist, Rocket and Nebula (Karen Gillan) were the only two Guardians to survive Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap and both should be extremely motivated next year as they work with the Avengers to resurrect their friends and family.
Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and Drax (Dave Bautista) on Knowhere where they arrive just a little too late and discover that Thanos (Josh Brolin) has already obtained the Reality Stone from the Collector (Benicio del Toro). They take him on with 6-to-1 odds, but still get crushed and ultimately lose Gamora (Zoe Saldana) forever.
Zoe Saldana delivered arguably her best performance yet as Gamora as we followed the beloved Guardian on a tragic journey which saw her confront her adoptive father and ultimately meet her untimely end in his quest for the Soul Stone. This scene pictured looks to be from when the Guardians arrive on Knowhere to try and stop Thanos (Josh Brolin) from getting the Reality Stone.
Here's another stunning shot of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), presumably shortly after the Guardians rescue Thor (Chris Hemsworth) from the wreckage of his ship. The scene saw the team getting acquainted with the God of Thunder and learning of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) incoming threat.
Considering Gamora was killed before Thanos snapped his fingers, it's uncertain whether or not we'll see her return in Avengers 4 or in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but if her soul is, in fact, tied to the Soul Stone somehow, then we may indeed see her fight again.
Okoye (Danai Gurira) during the battle of Wakanda, observing the mass carnage caused by the Outriders on her home. While it did look like she might bite the dust near the end, it was actually her King (Chadwick Boseman) that disappeared into oblivion while she looked on in horror. She'll be one of the few familiar faces left in Wakanda, joining M'Baku (Winston Duke) and presumably Shuri (Letitia Wright), and will undoubtedly join Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the other Avengers in their quest to find and stop Thanos (Josh Brolin).
Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) formed a pretty formidable duo with Okoye (Danai Gurira) and it should be plenty exciting to see the duo return to action in Avengers 4 next summer. While her role was limited compared to what we expected, she and the rest of the founding Avengers did survive Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap, so we should expect to see a lot more of her next year.
She was also the one to give us an update regarding Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), who are both currently on house arrest but will surely return to action next year with half the universe wiped out of existence.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Wong (Benedict Wong), and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) make a stand against Ebony Maw (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) and Cull Obsidian (Terry Notary) on the streets of New York. With the fight not going their way and the Hulk refusing to come out, the quartet did receive a timely assist from Spider-Man (Tom Holland), but it was a little too late since Maw still managed to escape with Strange and the Time Stone.
Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) meeting Proxima Midnight (Carrie Coon) and Cull Obsidian (Terry Notary) at the edge of Wakanda. While peace wasn't exactly discussed, the Avengers did attempt to get the two Children of Thanos to leave without any casualties, an offer they unsurprisingly refused. An epic battle ensued shortly thereafter and resulted in an unprecedented amount of loss.
Captain America (Chris Evans) looks on as Shuri (Letitia Wright) runs tests on the Vision (Paul Bettany) and tries to find a way to remove the Mind Stone from his head without killing him. As we all know by now, she runs out of time when Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw) launches a sneak attack, forcing the Vision to save her and join the battle.
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) heads off on an intergalactic adventure as the friendly neighborhood wallcrawler finds himself aboard a spaceship and heading off into the great beyond with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) hot on his tail. Luckily, Tony was looking out for his young protégé and launched the Iron Spider suit to save him before he fell to his death. However, the suit wasn't enough to protect him after Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap.
Captain America (Chris Evans), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) made quite the entrance and promptly delivered the ass-kicking of a lifetime to Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw) and Proxima Midnight (Carrie Coon). Here they are watching on as the two Children of Thanos beam up back to their spaceship without the Mind Stone.
Peter Parker (Tom Holland) meets Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and thinks that "Dr. Strange" is just a made-up superhero name and then reintroduces himself as Spider-Man. The pair both play big roles throughout the entire Infinity War, but in the end, both meet their demises when Strange realizes that there was no other way to stop Thanos (Josh Brolin) than to give him what he wants.
Black Panther fan-favorite M'Baku (Winston Duke) returns to lend his King a hand in the war against the Outriders and is one of the few left standing after Thanos (Josh Brolin) wipes out the universe. Here he joins Okoye (Danai Gurira), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Captain America (Chris Evans), and the Hulkbuster (Mark Ruffalo) on the battlefield as they wait for T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) signal to charge.
Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) puts up a last stand against both Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw) and Proxima Midnight (Carrie Coon) after they serious damage Vision (Paul Bettany) and attempt to get the Mind Stone. She manages to hold her own for several minutes until Captain America (Chris Evans) makes his badass entry alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie).
Nebula (Karen Gillan) joins the fight and in a cool reveal, we learn that she had succeeded in teaming with the Avengers and the Guardians as they very briefly got the upperhand against Thanos (Josh Brolin). However, after Gamora's (Zoe Saldana) fate comes to light, everything changes in the blink of an eye when Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) loses his cool.
Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) share a tender moment after narrowly escaping both Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw) and Proxima Midnight (Carrie Coon). The movie wasn't particularly kind to either of these two star-crossed lovers as both met their ends by the time the credits rolled. Vision was killed twice - once by Wanda and once by Thanos - while Wanda later disappeared alongside half of the universe after Thanos (Josh Brolin) snapped his fingers.
Oddly enough, this was the only scene where we got to see the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) make an appearance and we bore witness as he promptly got his ass kicked by an unbothered Thanos (Josh Brolin) before Heimdall (Idris Elba) used the last bit of his strength to send the fan-favorite hero back to Earth to warn the Avengers.
While it's since been revealed that there was a scene featuring the Hulk bursting out of Hulkbuster armor in Wakanda, that scene was, for whatever reason, scrapped in favor of Banner's current arc in the movie, which proved that he doesn't need the Green Goliath to be a hero. With the endgame nearly here, we can probably expect the strongest Avenger to make a big return next year.
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) empathizes with Gamora (Zoe Saldana) after learning that Thanos (Josh Brolin) is her adoptive father. He shares tales of his own experiences and hardships with Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Hela (Cate Blanchett), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) over the years. However, their brief moment doesn't sit all that well with Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), who tries to intervene when he sees his girlfriend staring deeply into the one eye of the God of Thunder.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
