Avengers: Infinity War will introduce the Iron Spider suit but those of you hoping that movie or Avengers 4 will deliver Peter Parker's black costume may be disappointed. While it would make perfect sense for the wall-crawler to come across the alien symbiote during one of these adventures, Tom Holland has now claimed that there's been no discussion of that happening with Marvel and Disney.
"The black suit hasn’t even been a discussion," the British actor confirmed recently. "It hasn’t, not in the Disney studio it hasn’t been discussed… Maybe it will be in the future. We don’t know."
Unfortunately, while this would be a prime opportunity for Marvel to have Spider-Man ditch Tony Stark's tech-heavy armour and wear an alien costume instead, this October's Venom movie is probably why it won't happen. After all, Kevin Feige has helped redeem the wall-crawler hugely since Captain America: Civil War and the last thing he'll want to do is connect the hero with the Sony spinoff.
It will also be confusing to moviegoers to have to Venoms running around at the same time so it seems we'll just have to accept that it's not happening. Then again, there's a chance Marvel may surprise us...
