Mr. Feige, whether this gets to you or not it doesnt matter but i just want to say thank you.  I want to thank you for making my childhood dreams come true and giving me an experience these last 10 years like i never thought possible in movie history.  When I was a kid there was always debate amongst my friends on what it would be like if our favorite super heroes were on the movie screen together.  Many have made the attempt but with unsuccesful results ranging from the Roger Corman Captain America to that attrocious Fantastic Four movie that was made for only a million dollars.   Hollywood back then never took these characters seriously thus making silly low budget movies that never amounted to anything.  It was sad and my friends and I had to settle on just dreaming and fantasizing with the comic books stories we read and held dear.  From events like Secret Wars, Infinity Gauntlet, Civil War and various others I never thought possible that there was a way to convey any of this on screen.

But you found a way to do it, Kevin, and I thank you.

I have obessed over these movies for years after the first Iron Man like nothing else.  I read every article, consumed every interview,  poured over every trailer to the point of obsession.  Maybe unhealthy, maybe not but it was fun because i never got to experience this as a kid.  It is nearly prophesized by critics every year by many ridiculous articles that dont understand superheroes and their stories that super hero fatigue would soon set in.  It's not there yet nor will it be anytime soon.  As if audiences would somehow bore of characters that dress in silly spandex to save the world every time.  As if the popularity of this genre is somehow destroying the industry.  And for a minute it almost seemed like it might.  After Daredevil, X-Men United, and Spider-Man 3 I began to get fearful that they might be right.

Then Iron Man came out and changed the game forever with that post credit scene.

That scene, Kevin, was like a dog whistle to every comic book geek.  That scene let us know that you were about to attempt to do something great.  That you understood what we wanted.  No one mainstream really understood that scene but fatigue was about to be put on hold for another day.  Greatness was coming.  The Avengers was going to happen.  You understood us, Kevin.  You understood us. You found a way to make b-list characters relevant because all your a-list characters were being jacked up by other studios and you wanted to do justice to the characters you had because the other studios were doing it all wrong.  And best of all you took the time to build it for us.  And it paid off.

Ironically Warner Bros had all their characters rights under one umbrella but never tried to mine the gold sitting under their noses for years.  Dummies.  You made it work for Marvel, Kevin, and with your team you made this ride these past ten years so glorious.  EVEN with Infinity War out and it breaking records you still have hater crtics still talking about super hero fatigue.  They just dont get it.  There are so many people out there like me that now have families that we have gotten our sons and daughters into our obsessions of super heroes and wives and girlfriends that know as much as we do.  We take our families to the movies excited as we are because we taught them the material.  I've never seen so many young women that into these characters as much as i am.  Cosplay is bigger than ever, comic book conventions have been an explosion status these past fear years as geek culture is now the mainstream.  That was unheard of when i was growing up.
But yet they still want to cry about super hero fatigue.  Sigh.

Thank you, Kevin, for understanding us and not making us feel slighted whenever one of these movies come.  Infinity War is beyond everything i ever imagined and even though it has its flaws I know only so much can be done in a two hour time span the execution is on point and Infinity War is a cinematic achievement no other company beside Warner Bros can hope to duplicate.  You make Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and all the great Marvel legends proud.
