"I heard that rumor as well. I don't know anything," said Murphy. "Whoever is really playing the Riddler is sitting home calling his agent, going: 'We gotta have this rumor stopped.'"

He added: "I would love to be in one of these Batman movies. Jim Carrey did the Riddler once and he did a wonderful job. They did the Riddler and they did the Penguin and they've done Mr. Freeze and they did the Joker. I could be Egghead."

Murphy then did an impression of Vincent Price, who played the character in the 1960s "Batman" TV series. "EGGcelent, EGGsquisite," he said. "They'll never crack this HARD BOILED case."

Ive seen this! It'll me fun if they ever did a spoof movie of ol' BATS but MURF as EGG HEAD in NOLAN'S World! Nahhh, though a cameo of him as EGG as a escape convict would be okay! ; )

Damn, sounds like the UK Tabloids could be used for some really good toilet paper to me lol! : D

This made me feel weird. I really don't like the Riddler as a villain. Of course, there could be a reinterpretation that could be mind blowing. I, like everyone else, would like to see some super powered action. There has to be a story in the bat-mythos that involves believable super powered beings.

I really really want to see the "Venom" storyline from Legends of the Dark knight, that was awesome.

Poor SuperMike... Its pretty bad when even InstigatorGirl doesn't like you. I am still on your good side right InstigatorGirl?

Betty- The Venom storyline was good. And speaking of venom I really want to see Bane done right on the big screen. The dumb ass they depicted him as in Batman&Robin needs to be corrected.

I don't think that Egghead should even be on the big screen. He is a very weak and pasny villian. They should find another sinister villain like the Joker. The Dark Knight is probably the best Batman movie ever made. Maybe movie with a more psychotic penquin or freeze, better yet come with psycho Mad Hatter!

i didnt like batman begins (the origin stuff was too long and boring) and i hate liam neeson so thereby i hated his character. however, the dark knight was one of the best movies i have ever seen so im sure that whatever nolan does in the next film will be awesome! i think killer croc or bane would be a good choice-someone who batman is really weak in comparison to.

lee: the sun is worse than toilet paper-the only thing worth reading is page 3 with the pic of the topless girl, lol!

Don't see how you can refer to a real world based Batman movie (aka Chris Nolan's work) as crap. They are critically acclaimed films with a strong cast and brilliant writing that follows Batman very closely. It wouldn't be hard to delve into the more crazy side of Batman with characters like Clay Face, Man Bat, or any others. To say they suck however...well that is just offensive.

You SuperMike are a narrow minded tool.

Betty: Qui-Gon Jinn was the firt role i saw him in and i didnt like him, then i just didnt like his charcter Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begin and what finally led me to hating him was when every time i came on this website that damn trailer for 'Taken' would pop up...im sure he's a decent guy and all so i dont HATE him as a person or anything, im just yet to see a film where i actually like his character, lol!

Josh was Qui Gonn the first time you saw Neeson?? My goodness, no wonder you wernt a fan after witnessing that phoned in crap. Maybe its cos hes a Countryman of mine but i was watching his movies since i was a wee ragamuffin. Darkman, Schindlers List, Rob Roy, Michael Collins, the mans a legend!

I'm with Rorschach. Lay off Supermike (not that I know much about him cuz I'm a noob). But as far as this Egghead business goes, I'd say throw him in and give Murphy the part.

Just make sure it's only about 45 seconds long. Here's my idea. Remember, just 45 seconds:

Have the story set up that Batman is still trying to round up the villains who escaped from the asylum. The lamest one of course - Egghead. Batman goes to Egghead's apartment and gets bombarded by eggs but then lays Egghead out with one punch. Pulls out list of escaped villains and crosses Egghead off of it.

Now on to the real villain of the story: The Ventriloquist and Scarface

I hope they keep with the escalation idea, and maybe start having more super powered kinda villians. Just nothing to OTT. It'd be pretty kool to see the Knighfall kinda story with an intelligent Bane and not some guy in a stupid rubber suit.

I hope the next Batman movie is better than TDK. Fingers crossed.
