Before The Dark Knight Rises premiere on Thursday midnight, it has already broken the marathon-event record with over 60,000 advance tickets sold at AMC theaters, more than half are for the Trilogy – Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. The previous record holder was The Ultimate Marvel Marathon with 30,000 tickets back in May. In reaction, AMC has added a few showtimes for The Dark Knight Trilogy and The Dark Knight Rises at 3:45-4 a.m.

"'AMC has been a great partner as we prepare for the opening of The Dark Knight Rises,' said Dan Fellman, president, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. 'They have shattered every advance sale record while adding screens to accommodate the early demand for tickets. On behalf of WB and our film makers, we appreciate their hard work and commitment to excellence, as they present our films in the best possible environment.'"

Cool. But it only is at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's has to be terrible! I don't care that there are 20 reviews not counted for that are postive, that movie is awful. Rotten Tomatoes is the be all end all for movies!!

lol @RidiculousFanBoyDemands. BTW Ive been meaning to ask you this: Is Bale's bat voice less gruff in TDKR?

Also, I don't care that the majority of critics that are giving The Dark Knight Rises a negative review also gave The Dark Knight a negative review! Eight rotten reviews means it's a terrible, terrible movie!!!

Yeah it is. I mean he still has his "moments" but he is much more subdued in this one. I think it's attributed to the fact that Bruce is in horrible shape physically.

He is definitely much more audible, I didn't have a hard time understanding any of his lines. I caught everything he said.

Haha Kevberg is just trolling. He's going to see it like everyone else.

Oh by the way, I GUARANTEE all the midge Bane stuff will talk once you see the movie. Hardy looks anything but midget like on the big screen. He looks bigger than Batman, and when you see what he is capable of, you will be in awe. He may not be as interesting as the Joker, but he is much more viscous and pulls off more shocking stunts than the joker. And that is saying a lot since Joker Killed Rachel, and destroyed Harvey Dent. Even though the Joker isn't mentioned once in this movie, you can feel the repressions of his actions throughout, and let's just say when Bane gets there, he puts the jokers plans to shame.

Now we can put that midget stuff to the side after Friday. Sucks that Joker's not mention, I wonder what happen to him? I heard he got executed after the events of TDK.

@kevberg

As someone who saw the movie already, I can clearly say that you know a shit about this movie. Earthquake machine, midget Bane and Batman dying LOL! Batman cant die. Never. As for Bane, it doesnt matter how tall Hardy is in real life, what matters is how big he is on screen. Real Batman fans mustn't be afraid, that much I can tell for sure. The rest will hate the movie because of the sake of hating.

@Tajin88

I can't wait to discuss it with you (and others) this weekend. There are a lot of things that stick out with me, and on a lot of levels I enjoyed the story more than TDK. What did you think man?

Then Kevberg you will love this movie more if you thought Batman Begins was one of the greatest CBM's ever.
