Interviewed by Josh Horowitz of MTV Movies Blog, Michael Caine alongside Jude Law let’s slip some nice juicy insights in to the movie.

Horowitz laughingly says that judging by the teaser trailer it seems that Alfred is the star of the movie. But Caine – who took on the role of Bruce Wayne’s butler and confidant after Michael Gough passed away – is quick to divert attention towards who he believes is the real star of the movie. “I tell you who it is about; it's about Heath Ledger as the Joker. He will be wonderful. He will be the talking point.”

Horowitz goes on to ask “Who will people be most scared by?” Caine is definite; “Joker! Joker! The Joker will do it!” He goes on to add, with some credibility considering the roles that he has played, that Ledger’s performance as the Joker is “One of the scariest performances I've ever seen... really!”

Jude Law was relatively quiet during the interview, apart from piping up suggesting that he really liked Batman Begins. Caine jumped in on that and provided another insight in to the sequel to the 2005 relaunch of the Batman series; “I thought that was the best Batman movie i'd ever seen... that's a very good picture, but Dark Knight will be different.”

Counting down the months until Batman the Dark Knight makes its way to cinemas. 18 of July, 2008, here we come!
