It seems today we are getting a lot of news and inside from the directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier Anthony and Joe Russo regarding Captain America 3 and also about the release date between their movie and Batman v Superman:Dawn Of Justice from different sources.
But in an interview with COMICBOOK.COM earlier today when the co-director were asked the about their thoughts in the change in the release date of Batman v Superman from Captain America 3 May 6, 2016 to a new slot in March 25, 2016,

 Joe Russo said.
"That's nothing we spent a lot of time with because we can't control it, But also at the same time we've been in this industry long enough to know that those films were never going to land on the same day with each other so we knew that somebody was going to move."

Joe Russo also said.
"To be honest, in this marketplace where it's been proven now that you can release anywhere from January to December and do really well, it didn't matter who moved, I think people are realizing that releasing at a time where you can get a couple of weekends – and I think Cap 2 proved this – where you don't have to worry about competition is the absolute smartest thing you can do. We're still number one domestically. When you look at Guardians of the Galaxy, it's similar in that it was released at a time of year where it didn't have to go up against X-Men or Godzilla or Transformers. And it's had a very healthy run and now it will end up as the top domestic movie. So I think it was smart. I think they took a smart date and I think they're going to do very well there."

So what do you guys think?

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice comes to theaters on March 25, 2016.

Captain America 3 set to release on May 6, 2016.

Truth. I'm glad BvS moved. I'm way more excited for it and we get to see it 2 months earlier.

Of course it will! It's Batman and Superman together for the first time!
I have a feeling it will be the biggest CBM yet.

Nice to see rival movie heads recognize one another's potential success. I have to agree with Russo, BvS moving to that earlier date was a wise move. Later in the year is starting to get CBM crowded.

- March 25, 2016 – Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
- May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3
- May 27, 2016 – X-Men: Apocalypse
- July 8, 2016 – Doctor Strange (Unannounced)
- August 5, 2016 – Unannounced DC Movie
- November 11, 2016 – Sinister Six

"What if BvS sucks donkey balls, what if?"

@ Sophisticated

critically it could get panned, snyder hasn't made a movie that has scored above 75% on rotten tomatoes.

dawn of the dead 75%
watchmen 65%
300 60%
man of steel 53%
legend of the guardians:the owls of ga'hoole 50%
sucker punch 23%

but it'll still make money & the fans will love it even if its shit, just like the teenage mutant ninja turtles movie.

What if Cap 3 turns into Cap 1, and people fall asleep in theaters? It is one of the lower revenue generating Marvel Studio movies, just clearing the magic 2.5X of budget to cover profit sharing relationships with theaters and oversea distributors while making a decent profit.

Cap1 was an okay movie. Cap2 was one of the best CBM to be produced by Marvel Studios. And its revenue ratio (4.2X of budget) definitely confirmed it was a hit at the cinema.

When it comes to MOS having to make up for a Superman franchise that had long lost its way, it is quite impressive it had a 3X revenue ratio and made another $160-170 MM in product placement revenue. So anyone thinking Snyder missed the mark on this one needs to probably look again.

Batman v Superman as a follow-up to this franchise fix will do extremely well. Just look at the reaction at SDCC 2014 over a short teaser clip and minor appearance from the three stars. Something would have to go terribly wrong for this not to exceed 3X of budget, and then some.

Looking forward to both movies.

I honestly don't see BvS beating the Avengers in B.O. take though. Look at this year. We had 2, maybe 3 films even better than the Avengers (2 of which had the MS brand to draw from), and none came even close to a billion.

If I had to guess, I would put BvS at $1.2-$1.3 billion, since it only has 5 weeks to hit the big money until Cap 3 stops it in it's tracks.

And, I really hope that BvS is a fantastic movie. The mistakes made in MoS are fixable, and Chris Terrio is a great choice to fix them.
