What I think the story should be for the MOS Sequel

This is an In-depth editorial on what I think the Story should be for the Sequel to MOS.

I've been reading a lot of articles where people voice their opinions on what the story should be for the MOS Sequel, and I thought I'd write my own.

So lets get started.

Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor collaborate on a charity event that is helping to rebuild Metropolis

To the public, they'll seem like nice billionaires helping out the community, but they both have their own private agenda on why they're doing it. Lex wants to get his hands on the kryptonian technology. Bruce (or should I say Batman) wants to investigate the tech to see what potential danger it poses, as well as Superman.

After the charity event is over, Lois Aproaches Bruce for an interview and instead gets a date with him. Couple days later. After the date with Lois, Batman suits up and begins to investgiate luthor, suspecting that he has gotten his hands on some tech. Batman gets into one of the secret Lex Corp buildings where some of the wreckage is being salvaged/stored. He hacks into some of the computers and sees Lex overseeing a test of kryptonian weapons being fired, aswell as lex trying to retrofit several of them for mass production. He finds one of the kryptonian weapons and decides to take it with him for further investigation. On the way out superman catches batman in the act. Here is where Superman acts surprised, he didn't think Batman was a real, he'd never seen him before, and thought it was just an urban myth.

"who are you?" as superman puts his hands on batman's shoulder when batman has his back against him. Superman's guard is lowered, and batman grabs his arm and throws him down.
(I know he's superman, but he's still 200 something pounds)

Superman retaliates with a shoulder tackle and batman gets slammed to a wall.
Superman uses x-ray on batman and finds out his identity. "Bruce Wayne?!?!?"
"You peaked!" replied Batman
Batman walks up to superman, shows him the kryptonian blaster and says"See this? Luthor has plenty more where this came from!"

Superman tells batman that he wont have Vigilantes in his town.
and batman tells him he'll be rid of him, but after he's done with his investigation.

The two of them then part ways, and Superman flies to his Metropolis apartment (in a building).
He talks on the phone with Lois and she tells him how great her date with Bruce was.

And as he's taking his suit off, he realized there was a tracker on his cape.
He takes a look out the window and there see's batman in a rooftop with vinoculars looking in at superman, and gives superman a thumbs up.

The next day Bruce Wayne buys The Daily Planet, and gives lois lane the exclusive interview
And theres an awkard moment between Clark and Bruce at The Daily Planet since both know who they really are.

Story later continues with Lex trying to Retrofit the kryptonian machine where kryptonian babies are born from. Lex decides to use it and creates a kryptonian baby, and so Bizarro is born.

Lex uses Bizarro to tarnish Superman's repuation.
He gives Bizarro a suit that looks just like superman's, and has Bizarro going everywhere (around the world, not just metropolis) causing mayhem and running amock.
Batman Investigates the situation and finds out luthor had a second secret building on the other side of town, where he was running the bizarro project.

He finds superman and tells him about what lex did and how he created a kryptonian.
This is where Batman mentors superman on what to do and how to do it.
So basically, superman now has much more expirience than before, and is better equipped to deal with the situation this time around.

Superman in fear that another Zod was created, rushed to find bizarro.
and instead of the fight being in metropolis or any city, he takes the fight straight to the ocean where no civilians would get hurt and no buildings destroyed.
As they're fighting, the circumstances of the fight makes them end up on Themyscira, where bizarro had been before for a couple of minutes, when he was a loose cannon.  He had killed a couple of Amazons, and Princess Diana was furious.

As the fight reaches Themyscira, superman begins holding back in fear of having the amazons getting hurt. This causes Bizarro to knock him away for about 20-60 seconds, and thats when we get a furious Diana unleash hell on bizarro.

Batman on the Batplane finds them via satelite and lands on Themyscira

Superman returns to the fight and finds Diana fighting Bizarro.
The effects of the machine Lex made are starting to kick in. (remember that it wasn't a 100% copy. it was a retrofit, and something goes wrong) and now he fully becomes bizarro.

He's somewhat dumbed down at this point.
Diana keeps beating on bizarro and pretty much pummeled him to the ground, and superman intervenes. An argument soon ensues between Diana and Superman.

As batman finally gets there and tells them to calm down.
Neither Diana nor Superman know what to do now with Bizarro.
They know that no prison can contain him.

So batman ask's superman if he could survive in another planet such as Mars, and gives him the Idea of taking Bizarro to live there instead, pointing out that Bizarro was only a creation of Lex, and any evil doings were orchestrated by Lex.
And this is the key to the first JL movie. Literally.
The movie ends with Bizarro going ham on what looks to be a tomb-like structure or cave, and releases a race of aliens trapped there, that had previously wiped out the martians.

Couple more points, Guidelines, or story fillers.

- Kryptonite does not exist on earth at this point. It is brought to earth by brainiac with the intent of killing superman. Brainiac and Zod were connected.

- You can add one of Batman's enemies as a weapons dealer trying to get weapon supplies to sell on the black market.

- Lex envies and at the same time hates superman.

- The way the story is set up will allow for plenty of expansions in this universe.
Bizarro causing chaos everywhere, a weapons dealer from gotham, the fight in the ocean, the fight in themyscira, and bizarro being sent to Mars.

- By the end of the movie Batman and Superman respect each other, and they slowly become friends (over time of course)

- Since Bruce owns The Daily Planet, he helps out superman by having Lois and Clark clear up superman's name of the wrong doings caused by bizarro. Citing a "Source" they throw in a picture proof and tell the world the truth about how Lex created bizarro. Lex however Denies the allegations, and is soon under fire by the media and under investigation by the federal government.
However he gets away with it, with a good lawyer and having paid off the judge.

- More side villains could be added into the story if bizarro isn't enough. (since kryptonite doesn't exist yet, neither does metallo. and IMO metallo isn't main villain material)

- Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor are #1 and #2 respectively as the world's richest men

- I know Bizarro isn't technically a "Clone" of superman, but given the circumstances, he doesn't need to be. You have a Machine that can literally create kryptonians (or atleast one that lex retrofitted), so having to make super bleed just to get a dna sample and then cloning him isn't neccesary.

More things could be added to the story, what I wrote is more like a summary.
Anyway, let me know what you think of this in the comments.

@Doopie
Yeah some of it is inspired from the Animated show.
the meeting between bats and supes is very similar in that regard.

also the tie in with Bizarro and Mars.
If you remember the Justice League show
in the first episode, astronauts go to the moon and discover a sort of building. while they try getting in, they release a race of aliens that were trapped there. And thus Martian Manhunter comes to earth to warn humans.

This would be a similar situation but with Mars and bizarro instead.

I know it sounds fanboy-ish but it would be some really good fan service to those who watched the old shows.
