Why Suicide Squad SUPERIOR TO CIVIL WAR Rant Massive Spoilers

Neither am I a DC fanboy. I like films if they are good, I dislike them if they are bad.

I don't like TDKR or MoS for instance.

My argument here isn't that Civil War is a bad movie, it's rather that many of the arguments that have been directed towards BvS and Suicide Squad are equally if not more valid for Civil War.

Civil War is a mediocre, safe movie with absolutely ridiculously cartoonish fight scenes, that have little or no consequence, has one of the worst villains I've ever seen in a film, is stuffed with characters who have no character arch, has a dumb storyline, has pseudo-philosophical and political debates that are discussed in the beginning of the movie - badly - only to be entirely abandoned by the end, the film literally has no balls.

The villains plan makes no sense, their are no strong female characters, character development in Civil War seems to have been reduced to a series of ever more moronic one-liners, it has some of the worst acting I've ever seen (looking at you winter soldier and black panther, they were [frick]ing awful) that airport scene was absolutely absurd, plus made them all into criminals who are willing to destroy private property just to resolve some dumb squabble there having. I mean as much as I hate MoS for all the destruction at least superman was fighting an actual bad guy.

The film is a literal mess and the only good things about it are Spiderman and Cap America. Everything else is either poorly acted, executed or series of bs one-liners. All the ethnic characters are side kicks, no diversity, nothing done that is in anyway innovative film making, bland cinematography, fight scenes that make no sense, where a human can go punch for punch with The Vision (who basically has the powers of Superman), you never feel like there is anything at stake. Oh but hey the editing is good, so its the greatest comic book movie ever made. Utter nonsense.

Sin City is a better movie, Guardians of the galaxy is better, Iron Man 1 is better than CW, Watchmen is, Kick Ass is, Dredd is better, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are all better movies.
