BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Blu-ray Release Date Revealed Along With Awesome SteelBook Cover Art

It was recently confirmed that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will premiere on Disney+ on February 1, and it's now being reported that it will hit DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD on February 7. This hasn't been confirmed by Disney, but comes our way from the reliable folks at Blu-ray.com.

It's also said that, in terms of special features, we can expect an Audio Commentary, a couple of featurettes - titled "Imagining Two Worlds" and "Passing the Mantle", along with a blooper reel and deleted scenes. We don't have any additional specifics beyond that right now, but expect an official announcement to come our way about this release shortly.

In the meantime, two new SteelBooks have been revealed, and we're sure you'll want to pick both of these up. As you can see, one spotlights Shuri, Queen Ramonda, Okoye, M'Baku, and Nakia, while the other features Namor the Submariner and Namora.

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ranks among Marvel Studios' best movies, and is an emotional, uplifting, tour de force of a blockbuster," we said in our review last year. "Letitia Wright delivers a powerhouse performance, while Angela Bassett’s majestic work will leave you reeling."

Marvel Studios hasn't announced plans for a third Black Panther movie yet, but we're sure Ryan Coogler will eventually return to the MCU to continue telling stories in Wakanda. The sequel has made over $827 million at the worldwide box office, and while it's not going to reach $1 billion, we're sure that's a result Disney is pleased with.

There have been rumblings that Coogler will take the helm of Avengers: Secret Wars, and if those rumours are correct, then we wouldn't expect to see Black Panther 3 until the next Saga kicks off.

Will you be picking up Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Blu-ray when it's released?

How can a movie be universally loved, yet hated by the so-called fans on this site.

Best story, presentation and overall quality in all of Phase 4 and most of Phase 3.

It was better than Black Panther 1.

I think the Nah-more cover is at least interesting though clearly targeted marketing

Ah...taking advantage of the Valentine's Day holiday since they had to keep BP2 in theaters beyond the 45 days in order for it to try to make money since it was seriously underperforming expectations. (which it did).

And poor Winston Duke...the only man on the Wakanda side....and the smallest person on the cover.
