The new Marvel soundtrack is 14 tracks in length, and it finds Kedrick Lamar joined by the likes of Jamea Blake, Future, Vince Staples, 2 Chainz, and South African artists that include Saudi and Yugen Blakrok.

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director,” Kendrick Lamar said. “The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.”

Top Dawg said this on the project, “Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity. We’re always working on new goals at TDE, so teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense.”

The album opens with the title track, Black Panther, which finds Kendrick Lamar rapping from the dual perspective of himself and T'Challa. The entire album is availble for streaming on iTunes, TIDAL, and Spotify.

With the exception of Futures verse in King’s Dead I’ve really like King’s Dead and Pray for me

Not sure how to add the Spotfify stream ??
But I've listened to the album about 15 times now, nice body of work with amazing production. Lots of African vibes in the production. Ludwig Gorrasson actually said he incorporated some of the production into his score, so that will be interesting to hear

There's only like 3 decent tracks on the album, maybe 4. Consider me disappointed...

I wish they had a more African/Black Panther/Diverse feel.

Those 4 btw are:

"All The Stars", "The Ways", "Seasons", and "Pray for Me"

You're welcome

@xfan320 - "Redemption" "Bloody Waters" "Opps" and "King's Dead"
are honorable mentions, I suppose

This could have been so much better
