Nathan Edmondson, the current writer of Black Widow's ongoing comic series, has expressed support for a Twitter campaign that pushes for a solo movie for Scarlett Johannson's Black Widow. As part of his support for the effort, he wrote up some script pages for a Black Widow movie.

The six pages of script that Edmondson uploaded depict an action sequence for Black Widow in what appears to be a teaser, ending with the Black Widow logo.

Nope. She isn't an interesting character in the movie-verse. Never gonna happen.

I think Black Widow is an interesting character in the MCU, I just wouldn't want to see a full movie centered around her. The same goes for Hawkeye. If you do the Budapest movie about the two of them? Maaaaybe, but I'd almost rather see that as a Netflix/TV mini-series.

I would like to see a joint Black Widow and Hawkeye film. That would be interesting, fully explain Budapest there.

Scarjo is terrible as Black Widow so no. I'm not on board. Don't waste a film on her, give us Hulk instead.

Not an interesting enough character to have an entire film dedicated to, especially not in a cinematic universe that has now branched to space. Her lack of a power-set really hinders the chances of her ever getting a film.

Seriously who gives a [frick] about the whole Budapest thing?! Like seriously it was a one liner for a joke. Let it go.

No thanks. We see plenty of Black Widow already.

Thanks but no thanks. Widow works best as a supporting character. She's worked out that way so far, so why mess with the formula? Plus there are a plethora of other characters that are deserving of a solo film before her.

I would [frick]ing hate them to do a Black Widow movie. Her character doesn't have enough depth to carry her own film. It also seems like it doesn't fit with where the MCU is right now and where it's going. I REALLY wish Emily Blunt would've played her. Or someone else at least.

Nope. Black Widow is a great character and really came into her own in Winter Soldier. However I think at this point Marvel is continuously looking for stories and characters that could help further expand the central story of the MCU and bring further build up to Infinity War. A Black Widow movie wouldn't be able to do that. Plus at this point Black Widow has been in three different Marvel films, THREE! It would be a bit redundant to give her a solo film when she is already a fully fleshed out supporting character. Give us a female led movie with a protagonist who deserves their own film like Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, etc.

i would rather see other heroes get a movie before black widow, however if marvel studios announced a black widow movie i'd definitely go & see it.

A TV series would be more interesting. A short one, like Agent Carter.

That, or a one-shot.

She's better the less we know of her.

This series is great, especially the art. Its a shame that the movies have turned her into an uninteresting character. Honestly its like all the female characters in the MCU are the same. Pathetic really. Lets hope Cap.Marvel changes that.

"Vicky Cristina Barcelona" meets "The American" meets The show "The Americans" .. . .I'd watch it. I just don't want to hear this "get a female director" bullsh*t . .Just get a good director and writer.

Seriously tired of this BS. First -not enough diversity -now complaints that the female solo film is Captain Marvel and not Black Widow. Marvel only has so many dates for films. So which movie gets sidelined so other fans can have their Black Widow movie? From what I see -Feige has a plan going forward -NOT backward. We are already spoiled with Phase 3 -yet it isn't enough. It never will be with some people. When Marvel delivers -people will always want more. smh

Scarlett Johansson is so hot though. Are you guys seriously telling me you don't wanna see a whole movie with her in that catsuit? You can see the intricate details of the booty in that thing.

Black Widow sucks as a cinematic character. In the comics she's a boss-but I don't know if its Scarjo, or the writing of her character; but she just isn't interesting to me in the MCU.
