Sorry guys, that's not Hitler, that's the gunman who kills the doc and flees in the car Chris (Cap) chases down to the docks. Photo's, from a magazine, posted on this site months prior, showed him in the sub with captions referencing who he is.

MrNoFear, don't worry, I'm hoping Green Lantern will be a good movie, but if it's not, don't worry, Dark Knight Rises, and Superman will be out next year, but if your over 16, I suggest you get a life, the whole DC verses Marvel, is kind of childish.

I can spot 2 different places where I actually stood when I went to the set

1. When Cap is at the camp with the American flag in the background(although they made it look bigger onscreen by getting rid of a few trees in the background)
2. When Cap is riding his bike through an explosion(although there was no tanks when I was there, just a big white box the size of a mobile home)
I walked right through there with a beer & a spliff

while i'm glad Marvel is having their day in the sunshine (again), i wouldn't start hating on DC just yet.
the GL trailer that we have seen was released two and half months ago (or so).
lets not assume that the CGI is crappy until we see the final product. lets not judge the casts' performances based on a two minute trailer. as a matter of fact, lets not assume this film will suck in any regard. remember, DC fans will hold First Class over Marvel's heads if it goes south. which is another thing that everyone assumes will happen. granted, i'm not excited about the film much either.

i myself can't wait for any of this summer's movies. be it Captain America (FINALLY!!!!!!), Green Lantern, or Harry Potter 7.2.

@Wadey....that is true....we can't count out that DC could see X-men as a potential Failure. Yes, Green Lantern has plenty of time to improve the CGI....I don't judge until I see a film, a trailer is one thing, but those are tiny snippets in the granted scheme of things

Although this and Thor look great, I think GL has just as much potential.
And to all of those who are talkn shyt about DC, did you guys forget they have both Batman and Superman coming out next year? They are two of the most popular characters in comic book history so its not over yet.

why has the comments section turned into DC hating? I thought the article was about Cap, keep it relevant and grow up, yeah? Not everything is a competition. "Just give up DC" what a ridiculous thing to say. Maybe try waiting until you've actually seen the films before judging them? Chances are if you enjoy Marvel characters more than DC you'll be more biased towards their films than DC films. Also, all of these films have the "potential to suck", good trailer doesn't guarentee a good film.

Anyway, really liking the look of this, although personally i think weedy Rogers' head looks a bit too big. Happy to be getting what looks like it could be a good Cap movie!

batman & superman maybe two of the most popular,but the avengers is something new that we haven't seen before so i think it might topple the batman & superman.

don't forget we've got spidey,ghost rider 2 & i think the wolverine is out as well.

@Frogman, what we are saying is that DC isn't trying to establish a coherent movie universe with the amazing characters in it. Marvel Studios is doing something truly ambitious, whereas DC/WB have a hard time marketing characters that aren't Batman. They find characters like Wonder Woman, The Flash, Captain Marvel, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, and a slew of other great characters to the big screen are nearly impossible because it seems no one wants to create a great script to push the comic book movie genre. Now the argument of Quality over Quantity could work in their favor, but if they are trying to establish a universe, they are miles behind Marvel.

i dident think dc was trying to make a universe i just thought they were making films....
other wise i gotta say the gl trailer was so campy compared to 2 30 sec marvel teasers. if they dident want the gl to come off as a kind hearted child friendly hero they wouldent of done it that way.

i'm optimistic this movie will take much time during WWII! roger will wake up from his hibernation and meet nick fury at the end of this movie or at the opening of the avengers!!

@ComicCritic87 you've missed my point. This article is about Captain America screengrabs yet the comments section turned into the petty Marvel vs. DC argument. I think that what you have said is more just your thoughts than what the rest of the comments are saying. The other comments are all about the competition stating that Marvel will "win" in this fictional war created by the fanboys.

Remember the last air bender, great promo's, horrible movie, I pray that is not the case for Cap or Thor, but I pray that is the case for GL, I hope the crappy promo equates to a great movie. All in all, I'd like to see all three succeed. We haven't seen anything for first class, but I'm hoping it does well. Instead of arguing like little girls, let's be glad we have these movies.
