I still think this is fake, and this Heatvision blog is just searching the web for the actors who fit the role the least, and then claiming he's officially on the list.

I think these are just the guys that have gone in to audition already and have been sent home.

We haven't seen the choice yet.

The same thing was happening several months ago with the Green Lantern casting of Hal Jordan... from the list of completely unadapt actors none of them emerged... they instead picked up Ryan Reynolds surprising everyone in the process.
I bet this will not be that different: none of the proposed actors has a tenth of the sheer charisma needed to play Cap.

I don't have time to throw up article, cinematical.com released this article saying John Krasinski from the Office is a shoe in for the role at this point... obviously take it at face value

I can't believe nobody is considering Paul Walker to play Captain America. He already has an action movie resume, is in the best shape out of all the candidates i've seen, and has natural blond hair, blue eyed look already. Why not him?

Shaman: I would think that having the star of your TV series star in an A list action adventure motion picture would be great for your TV show.

Not only would it drive your ratings through the roof but it would also boost previous seasons DVD sales.

But thats just my opinion and I could be wrong.

I've said from the beginning that I thought that Aaron Eckhart has the look to be a great Captain America if you bulk him up some. He was one of the best things about The Dark Knight, and I think he'd be great here, too.

As for this Bethel guy, he might be able to pull it off with some good roids and a lot of gym time. At least he's not a pretty boy who'd be far more at home on the CW or in a Calvin Klein ad than playing Cap.

And yes, Princenamor, Paul Walker is another guy who could probably be a good Cap. He should at least be on the list for consideration.

Jensen Ackles? I really think he'd be a better Hawkeye than a Captain America. Shaman, thanks for posting that great Cap pic. Now THAT'S the Cap I want to see, regardless of who's under the cowl! Love John Buscema's art!

princenamor1- The reason why no one is concidering Paul Walker is that the only thing he's got going for him is blond hair and blue eyes. The guy has LITERALLY NO RANGE what so ever. He makes Channing Taters look commanding ffs.

Hawksblueyes- No, you ABSOLUTELY can NOT be wrong with that assessment. Logic says so and hey, even it's neighbor; common sense! I literally mean it, if WB/CW put's a kink in Jensen Ackles' Cap gear, i will be flat out boycotting the sixth season!!! If they facilitate him, they have my money for the box set AT FULL PRICE!!! I already own the first four, waiting on the fifth and sixth!

Johnston!!! Throw Jensen the shield or I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!!!!!!!

comicb00kguy- He'd definitely be the perfect Barton, i'll give you that! But right now, there isn't a better, more accurately experienced choice than Jensen Ackles for Cap. Plus he looks EXACTLY like Buscema's Cap! And yes, Buscema TOTALLY ROCKS!!! IMO, he's Marvel's Kerry Gammill. I love this pic :))
