Cool Brent! I bet he will have the shield shaped shield first with USO troop and then upgrade to the vibranium one later.

My concern is where will he get his training if he's busy running around as a clown after getting the injection

so we will see the triangular shield too. I think the whole uso and using him as a cheerleader to 'uplift the troops morale' is really cheesy BUT hey its canon, its comic book accurate so go Marvel and Marvel fanboys

@Juggernaut: How's about you show some respect to the REAL USO guys, many of whom risked and even lost their lives, by not referring to them as clowns?

Being part of the USO does not necessarily mean you weren't trained, as they came from all walks of life, not just the famous Hollywood types like Bob Hope - especially I would have thought, if you were not just any old USO performer, but a national symbol.

"They entertained in military bases both at home and overseas, often placing their own lives in danger by traveling or performing under hazardous conditions - some losing their lives."

Some members of the USO were/are even highly trained military experts - "The nation's top military officer, Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, recently returned from his fifth USO tour overseas." - so even Admirals can be part of the USO.

Some of the ignorance displayed here is downright disrespectful to the memories of people who risked and even lost their lives for a greater cause.

Having said that, I'm sure that just being an entertainer, no matter how valued, will chafe with Steve Rogers, so that's why he'd go AWOL - to do MORE, because he has the capability.

I think it's a brilliant move - it's both realistic and a GREAT reason for why he'd wear the flag in the first place.

@ KiethM: I didn't intend any disrespect toward ANY soldiers. I would never do that. Every soldier I meet I thank for their service.

I did intend disrespect toward the possibility that he may spend the time he should be learning how to fight as an entertainer instead.
