If I remembered it correctly Red Skull wears a mask like the Phantom of the opera. And underneath the mask is a deformed face (which is I like this character it adds more intrigue). If this is true then this poster can be the mask -- thus the presence of the teeth. The mask can be closer to the skull as a symbolism. Yep pretty menacing and I like it.

Very, very cool. Exactly what I'd want the Redskull to be like. But...me thinks someone cut and pasted a photograph from a very well known zombie movie.....

Red Skull is pure evil! Thats why, Red Skull and Hydra as the villains in The Avengers! Loki is my second choice, but Skull comes first, just because he is pure evil!!:)

Hell, he made the whole movie awesome single handedly! And that, despite Cox's efforts to make it crash and burn!!! Dolph was decent as always.

@Kalabog I actually did not know that originally it was just a mask.

In Ultimate Comics Avengers, Red Skull is Captain America's son who carves his own face off so he does not bare his father's likeness. I wonder if they will do a mask, or do a play off the Ultimates line, and just have him carve his own face off for a different reason. Shrug. However they do it, I am sure Hugo Weaving is going to look pro.

I know the Red Skull's probably gonna need lips so he doesn't speak like a sock puppet in the film, but I'm sure they'll make it epic.

YurMomm....may I ask where those images came from? Somewhere that would lend credence to that being the mask to be used in the movie? That's pretty exciting stuff, and I swear you can see that mold was made from Weaving's face. Or maybe that's just what I WANT to see! Thanks for posting those.
