These look pretty good except for the quirky smirk in the second one. Whats up with that?

I know some people are mad because they gave him the part. Honestly, I like Chris Evans and I think he has what it takes for this role. And even if you don't agree with me (which I know people wont) at least all the speculations, and top 3, top 5, top 100 candidates are all done and we have someone for this role. I am just glad all that is done. I was getting tired of all the crap. Finally they can start moving the movie forward, cuz god knows we are all looking forward to this one!

I like CE for Cap...compaired to the people Marvel interviewed I think he have a rounded personality to pull it off. He is familiar with this kind of movie so he should be a good fit.

Love the first one. and speaking from experience, finding source material to do photoshopping is hard. especially with chris evans... most of his pics are of him pouting like that.

ATOMBomb@ Krasinski isn't Polish/Irish and Roman Catholic. You should get your facts straight before you post something like that.

I really don't expect Marvel to confirm anything until a possible cameo in IM2. There's a reason they are waiting and I think they want to make a big splash being everyone is curious as to whether it is true or not. Milk that marketing. Keep the buzz going. Once it is confirmed all the talk will die off some.

I like the colors on the second one, but for some reason the stars on the shoulders bother me.

The first one I totaly hate. It sucks. It's ugly.
It clashes even worse than Cap's traditional costume already did. The shoulder badges are pointless and lame and they are designed to give the impression that Ultimate Cap is less like a super hero, and more like a regular soldier.
The gray under arm is lame and pointless.

I love the first one! That's pretty much how I wanna see Cap in the Avengers film! Would like to see who ever made the first one make one with him in a WWII Uniform!

The 1st one looks amazing. Very close the Ultimate design witch IMO was the best costume any cap ever wore.

Love the shoulder badges and the Gray material.

The gloves could stand to be 100% brown leather instead of red with just brown Trim.

He even managed to update the big “A” on the forehead, and have it look decent.

Over all it looks great. I really hope they go in this direction for modern Capt.

Too Ultimate. I would like the first one if:

A. Take the red circles with white stars off the shoulders.

B. Put the proper "A" on the forehead (no way that font looks 1940's) and add some proper wings to the cowl.

C. Get rid of the crap brown pouches and bands on the gauntlets and go with traditional.

D. Get rid of the crap brown shoulder straps

E. Just one shade of blue on the shirt please.

Or in other words, take the 2nd image and again get rid of those rediculous shoulder patches, change the sucky under arms color from red to blue and the mid arms to white and you have a good Cap uniform.

As far as how good they look as "art" they're both very good, but I really don't like the very Ultimate inspired aspects of the costume. I.e. the stars on the shoulders, the the odd pouches on the arm of the first one... I can live with the underarms not being covered with scale mail, because that would allow for more range of movement, but I'd like to see just a little more white on the second one.
