"Lutz will join Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto in the film 'War of the Gods' and has been cast as the lord of the sea, Poseidon, Variety reports. The story follows the battle between the young warrior Theseus and his men versus the Greek gods. Their mission is to save the human race and defeat the wicked gods of the Titans.
Filmmaker Tarsem Singh ('The Cell') is on board to direct the film that is scheduled to begin production in April."
Seems like a cool flick.
Does this put Lutz out of the Captain America rumor mill?
No way he has time to do both. My guess is Evens will take the Cap role.(I told ya so!!!!!!!!!!!!) The Cap rumor mill is steep and almost endless. Yes most of the rumors are complete BS but they are also the topic of great debate. Stay tuned, tomorrow will feature yet even more unconfirmed rumors for us all to siff through and choose which one to believe, if any(only the biggest news, finally Evens accepts the Cap role,confirmed).
Marvel is on the verge of making a few of us lose interest due to them dragging their casting feet. Here's to hoping they hurry the he&& up and make a decision already!
