I like it, its better then the one for Thor. I hope the shield is connected to the rock, alot of people will take it, I would. The Thor one should have used a replica Mjolnir.

One more day closer to the big show. That does look cool. I personally like this better than Thors. I'm also glad I don't write articles outside of Fan Fic. This is a tough crowd.

You know what's funny though...those standees get sent back to the studio so no one who even works there can have it. I asked that when the silver surfer one came out and they said all of them get sent to the studio when the film is done showing. What is Paramount going to do with 3,000 Captain America shields in a block of sythetic ice!

the ones they had for " the incedible hulk" and "ff silver surfer" were better. They were the actual lifesize characters.

sell them to collectors etc. u can find em on ebay afterwards...

the thor one is a million times better than this, the "ice" just looks odd and fake.

That must not apply to all theaters. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, and my local comic shop was able to acquire the full-size Silver Surfer standee, plus loads of other cardboard ones.

And yeah, that was at Comic-Con.

That's NOT the movie standee, this was taken San Diego comic con this is promoting the toy shield they'll be selling stores, I went to comic con I live in San Diego, right next to this was thors hammer toy also on a boulder or rock design.
