Digital Spy managed to catch up with the actor, who is rumoured to be playing Howard Stark in The First Avenger, at the UK National Movie Awards last night and asked him about comic books and whether or not he'd confirm his role in the movie!
"I never was one of those kids that liked comic books...I never got into them. They're great now when I read them or see what they're based on, like Captain America. They're great."
And as for whether he or not he will definitely be starring in the Captain America movie alongside Chris Evans and fellow British actress Hayley Atwell he said, "All sorts of people are saying that and I don't know whether I'm allowed to say...maybe! I'm not sure!"
