Joe Quesada on Captain America: "It's going to rock everyone's socks off!"

Marvel's E-I-C has revealed some new, small bits of info on 'The First Avenger: Captain America' and says that it sets up 'The Avengers'!

At the Big Apple Comic-Con, Quesada offered a brief update on 'The First Avenger: Captain America,' with which he's had some involvement.

"I've seen a couple of outlines and an initial screenplay, and it's going to rock everyone's socks off," he said. "It's very unexpected, the kind of movie it is."

Quesada added that 'Captain America' sets up 'The Avengers' in "a fantastic way" and also mentioned that there is an undisclosed wish list of actors to play the star-spangled superhero!

Its great to hear that they're thinking about actors and that the movie will set up 'The Avengers'! Now Im even more excited for this movie!!!

I could live with Leo. He's a great actor, simple as that. Yeah he doesn't look the part particularly, but its nothing a few months in the gym couldn't fix.

Hey, when i first heard about RDJ for IRON MAN i thought he was perfect, same goes for SCARLETT JO! Perfect BLACK WIDOW in my book.

lol @ Bman. I agree.

I don't think they have picked an actor yet. They are probably working on that right now.

Ackles already said it won't be him, and chances are better than good that DiCaprio is too busy to sign a two picture deal so that's likely out of the question also.
So those two are probably NOT going to be the one they go with.

If you guys want to continue this guessing game, I suggest you move the dialogue toward the unexpected. Just like Hemsworth, their pick will probably not be someone who is extremely well known. It may be that they will go with someone on the younger side.

You guys want to know what I think? I would be willing to bet that CHRIS PINE is at least on their list.
I'm not saying he would be a good pick necessarily but I betcha he's at least on their list.
