NAME Joe Johnston III
DOB: He was born in May 1950

RESUME: Joe Johnston is the director of these weekends CBM Captain America. He did previously directed movies like The Wolfman, Jurassic Park III, Jumanji and more. He is also one of the people behind the visual creation of Yoda and Boba Fett. He was also the art director for Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi. He got his start in movies during the making of Star Wars-A New Hope as an effects illustrator and miniature designer.

History: Answered an ad while a student at Cal State-Long Beach, which was looking for employees. That ad was for George Lucas whom Johnston became acquainted with. He was employed a storyboard artist who would watch Lucas do his editing. Eventually, Johnston decided to leave Lucas' company and travel with the money he had saved up. But Lucas suggested that he go to USC film school (his alma mater), which Lucas would get him to the front of the line for applicants, pay for his tuition, and keep Johnston as a part time employee with his salary. Johnston said he would have been crazy not to accept the offer and immediately said yes. (found on IMDB.com)

NOTE: This is my first article and i'm just testing the waters to see if something like this would be worth doing (thats why is short and sweet.) next time I'll go into more detail.

How cool is that to have everything handed to you just by lucking out and answering an ad. Crazy! Jumanji was a creepy movie. I remember being totally freaked out when I was little. For your first post you did a good job. You seem to know your stuff and seem very enthused about your writing. Keep up the good work ;)
