I guess it isn't easy to draw Harrison Ford's mannerisms.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, have been since the cradle, but the one thing that I've never been able to suspend my disbelief on was how anybody could understand what Chewie was saying. I mean how in the hell are we supposed to believe that when Han hears "WAAAAHHHHRRRAA!" he interprets it as some form of complex thought?

@Montross Have you noticed Chewie doesn't just roar? Sometimes he uses grunts, roars, whines and growls in quick sequences, like he's speaking a language.

Could be that Han has special hearing, and can distinguish different frequencies.

From what I remember, Han is the only one who is fluent in Wookiee. He understands Chewie and can also speak Wookiee but doesn't because he would sound ridiculous. Obviously most Wookiees understand common (English)

My friends and I made a short Star Wars fan film in 2001. If anyone could check it out and let me know what they think I'd appreciate it. It's only 2 minutes and all action! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUhbYEm4nLk

I can't think of anything worse than this series. Or any Star Wars series right now.
