Thanks to the looming release of the Suicide Squad and WB Animation's adaptation of the Alan Moore and Brian Bolland masterpiece, Batman:  The Killing Joke was the best selling graphic novel for the month of May.  Though it's undoubtedly receiving a boost from both films, it's still an impressive feat considering the controversial story was released 28 years ago.

In related news, the World Premiere of the animated adaptation has been confirmed for Friday, July 22, at SDCC.  That's one day before the film is made available for purchase on select digital platforms.  An exact time and room location have yet to be released, so check back when the official SDCC schedule is posted sometime in the coming weeks.

Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy voice the Joker and Batman, respectively. Tara Strong voices Barbara Gordon. Sam Liu directs, while Bruce Timm serves as executive producer. The film will be the 25th release from the DC Universe: Animated Originals division of WB Animation.

The films goes on-sale on cable and gaming VOD platforms on July 23.  Digital retailers like Amazon, vuDu and Xbox place the film on sale July 26.  Blu-ray and DVDs go on sale August 02.

Okay, so I got 14 message from the troll (actually, just 13. One of them was from a real person), and I figured out three things: 1. He's not a Marvel fanboy. 2. He's not a DC fanboy. 3. He wants to kill Levikutz.

Can we please stop associating Leto's "camera pic" to one of the greatest graphic novels of all time that depicts "CLASSIC JOKER?"

Leto's Joker looks like a complete bust when it comes to "Classic Joker."
