this year sucks for comic artists, man. George Perez, Neal Adams, and now Tim Sale. RIP, this is one of my favorite panels in comics history

@Dredd97 - It's actually pretty remarkable considering Tim was colour blind. He must've had a lot of faith in the colourist to not mess it up.

I am getting frustrated at how the divine giants that shaped my hobbies and interests are proving to be mortals.

@blitzkreg - way to be an asshole, You might not like his art but You at least could try to be a decent human being and show Some respecto, Tim sale Made Some of the greatest comic stories and his contribution to the art is undeniable whether You like it or not

Tim's my favourite artist. What a blow

Last october's Long Halloween Special seemed like it was the prologue to a new Loeb/Sale story... guess that will remain a 'what if'.

So you guys finally got around to making an article for this huh?

Anyways R.I.P to one of my favorite artists ever, the image of Batman meeting Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent on the rooftop in The Long Halloween is still burned into my mind and is by far my most favourite image of Batman EVER; to the point that whenever a new suit is talked about for a new Batman movie my only hope is that it will use that famous silhouette tbh (his style of Batman was so well recieved it became the basis of the design used in the Arkham games). I'm just glad that before he died his art-style was able to be adapted for The Long Halloween animated movi-OH WAIT A MINUTE -_-
