Hi everybody, this is my first article ever and I wanted to share some ideas with you. When the Young Justice show was announced I was really excited because I was a big fan of the comic book, also I felt that there was the need for a good and serious DC comics animated series because Justice League Unlimited was long gone.

Back in February of last year, Stephanie Lemelin was the first to announce via Twitter that she was casted as Arrowette, she also posted a picture of Artemis. Then later in April,it was announced that the female archer in the team was Artemis and that Arrowette would make an appearance on the show as well.

Series creators Greg Weisman and Brandon Vieti stated in an interview that Artemis was an existing character of DC comics, so I thought maybe Artemis was Mia Dearden. In the episode "Infiltrator," Artemis' arrival to the team was mysterious, alledging to be Green Arrow's niece and Red Arrow not buying that, she appeared to have a past history with Cheshire and the League of Shadows.
So I did a little digging on internet and I came to the conclusion that Artemis may be Artemis Crock(Tigress),Sportsmaster's daughter, this makes sense considering that Artemis is an expert marksman and archer and that Sportsmaster was already introduced to the show in "Drop Zone" as an agent of "The Light". In this same episode, after the directors of "The Light" got their hands on the venom blockbuster serum, they vowed retaliation against the team and it was later revealed in "Infiltrator" that "The Light" was in alliance with the League of Shadows and had placed an agent on the team.

So how would this be developed later in the series? I really don't know but it could be played in two ways: the same way as Terra was approached in the Teen Titans series, bonding with the team then turning against them maybe becoming Tigress in the process and later sacrificing herself to save them. Or the way the Black Widow is being approached in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes series, being a triple agent for Batman and the League against "The Light".

So what do you think? Leave your comments below, and remember this is my first article so be nice please.

Sportsmaster's daughter! Now that could make for an interesting story if done right. Nice research.

@dellamorte1872: I don't mean to be rude, but you obviously know very little about HIV-positive. There is just certain topics you don't bring up unless you know what you're talking about. Fighting crime while being HIV-positive is way more sensical than nine tenths of the superpowers out there. Do we still accept those superpowers? as fans of comic books of course.

@dellamorte: I'm the [frick]ing idiot? Your the one backing up your argument with "COULD BE A 1 AND A MILLION CHANCE ITS STILL A POSSIBILITY!" There could be a one in a million chance on everything. Does that mean it will happen? no. Does that mean it could happen? certainly, but all in all it's fiction. So are you going to rant about heroes having superpowers now. Besides it would be more likely that she would give HIV to the villains because (most likely) they would be more bloodied up than the victims/hostages. Unless the v/h was being beaten or tortured. If somebody who commits crimes gets HIV-positive, I couldn't care less.
@otherside: oh I get it now. I wasn't complaing about anything. I was just informing you because I thought you had misunderstood the first line. That's all.

@dellamorte: we will never be able to agree on that because of our difference in opinion about the definition of the word heroic. Misery and ultimate death to an enemie sounds pretty heroic to me. Now I'm an American, but I do not fully agree with the eigth admendment. Now in case your not American, that admendment states that cruel and unusual punishments may not be used. I think that people should get what they derserve. If that means slowly dying from a disease then sure. Why not? Though, if you take away her disease then, using your logic, she still wouldn't be heroic because she is using a weapon (bow and arrow) that, if her aim is a little off, could result in death or a bad injury to either her friends or foes.

@dellamorte: I can't read your mind to see what the point is your trying to make. So how about you keep your comments on the topic that you have in mind. Also, people will always miss someone who is dead. It's just the way it goes. That doesn't mean that they shouldn't die.

@Dellamorte: I'm the idiot. Your the one criticizing elca (several comments up) about word choice because you couldn't think of anything else negative to say. Pathetic. Also, you misused a comma. You don't place a comma before a coordinating conjuction unless you are using a compound sentence, or you are making a list in which a (or more than one) coordinating conjunction(s) are items in the list. You did neither of those. LOL.

@dellamorte: On a more serious note, when you said "you are a completely narrow minded and intentionally obtuse idiot. its more important for you to say "i'm wrong" instead of actually thinking like an intelligent person." (ignoring the obvious capitalization mistakes. LOL) I was sitting here wondering whether you were fooling with me or not. I could have told you that same thing because you ignored my observation that we won't be able to agree on this because of are difference in opinion (see my 5th comment down). We should just agree to disagree and respect each other's opinions. I think that insulting one another's minds is getting us no where.

@dellamorte: First, you are kidding when you state semi-colons are used for lists, right? Well, to be correct, they are used for lists when the lists already have a comas in them, but most of the time comas are used.
Second, (this is still written towards della) What was your reasoning behind me beng an idiot? How am I purposly getting off topic to show that I am not a fool? Where is your proof? Or are you just saying that to draw the attention away from our conversation which apparently, after reading over our debate, I've realised we were both trying to argue over two different things which mad this conversation confusing for the both of us.

Why was this moved to features? It's more of an editorial.
