I first have to say that this is an incredible issue, even better than the first one. The addition of Kate Bishop is masterful, as is the story, leading into a recurring theme for this series. I like the way that they show how Clint fires an arrow, how he concentrates, etc. The artwork is very good indeed, the facial expressions are excellent and convey the emotions of the characters very well. The panelling is great, there is a page with 24 panels in it, a phone call between Clint and Kate, which is drawn and written excellently. As you can probably tell, I am a big fan of Hawkeye, so far this series is proving to be a massive hit with me, hope it can continue its excellence.

4.5 stars out of 5
