MCU Civil War - Phase 3

MCU Civil War - Phase 3

All the leaks and announcements from Marvel in the last two weeks has got me thinking... if they really want to do a Civil War story, then they need to develop a lot of backstory in the next two years. Luckily they have six TV shows and a few movies to do that.

So, after Age of Ultron rolls around...

Secret War/Secret Invasion -> Civil War -> Fallen Son

    What if:
    1) Agents of SHIELD Season 2/3 focuses on Secret Invasion, where the Skrulls have infiltrated Earth. Now, I don't know all the legal mumbo jumbo with Fox, but if they can't use the Skrull, then they can use Inhumans (thereby substituting shapeshifters for Terregenesis). This opens up so much to the MCU, and can cross over with the Netflix shows (they'll need the boost). I also think the blue alien in T.A.H.I.T.I. was maybe Namor's father and that leads to a Defenders/Namor crossover. With Inhumans and Atlanteans, Defenders and SHIELD, they are well on their way to enough characters for Civil War. Oh yes, in my world Sony agrees to let the MCU use Spidey, but the Ultimates version so as not to reboot their own spinoff movies.

2)While all this is taking place, on Captain America 3 the Russo brothers are doing Secret War, the one with Daisy Johnson, where Nick Fury assembles a team with Cap, Widow, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Hawkeye and Mockingbird (can't remember if Spidey was in this storyline) to fight a Hydra team led by Baron Zemo, who they can replace with Kraken because he is already established and proven to be bat sh*t crazy, leading Crossbones, Bucky and other Hydra folks. Iron Man can be in an end credit cameo here, he's not really needed untill...

    3) Avengers 3: Civil War. By this time, Marvel will have established enough characters and crazy storylines to warrant Civil War. While all the Earth people are fighting among each other, Thanos can swoop in to get Loki's staff, meet up with the Inhumans and kill Captain America. This can turn Bucky around to take over that role, and....

4)lead into the untitled Fallen Son movie, leading into a whole new slate of Marvel movies with Secret Avengers etc.

What do you think? Crazy enough to work?

I don't want Cap to die, but that's the outcome of Civil War if they want to do it. The only other big Avenger they can kill off will be Tony Stark - I secretly hope they do this as I'm sick of both the character & the actor - but I doubt they'll do that. Maybe blast him off into space & I'll have to sit through another awful Guardians movie...

As for Bucky, I don't want him to be Cap per se, I think we'd all like to see a Winter Soldier/Black Widow movie, but Marvel and US movies in general doesn't like to have black heroes in movies, I doubt Falcon will get his moment. (I'm from Africa, by the way)

These 3/4 story lines are just an idea, they don't have to follow it exactly. We've already seen a bit of Civil War in Cap 2 and Agents of SHIELD Season 1 anyway, so they're changing it to suit the continuity.

So Avengers 3 is Civil War, and the Infinity Gauntlet is... nowhere ? Nope, I don't see it.

I'm pretty sure Cap 3 is Civil War, and Avengers 3 is Infinity Gauntlet.

I hope the TV series stay on TV. [frick] I'd hate having to watch multiple episodes of [frick]in Daredevil and Jessica whatsername just to understand what's happening in the movies. I don't mind small winks, like the Mouse Hole in TWS, but let's leave it at that.

Also, what is this doing in "Scoops" ?

I think Civil War is too long of a story and not enough information is out there yet. But the title could be a signal of the path they are going down at the end.

I still think the AofS/AC vehicle will provide links to marvel history and add links to MCU. AC seems to be about cleaning up after WWII, both Hydra and SSR. This put ties in for AM1 and CA3.

At some point we should see Agent Vaughn who will find the Quasar Bands that are in with the SSR stuff in storage.

The more I read, the more I am convinced that thet AofS will be the vehicle to introduce Inhumans and other groups, maybe new warriors, runaways, and Atlanteans. Speedball is rumored to be in upcoming episodes. Skye, her father (Maximus?) and the artifacts that normal humans cant touch but human hybrids can. Obelisk/Diviner and the orb from GG1.

In order to conclude Civil War properly, arent Namor and the Atlanteans needed?

Tell me what you think
Mockingbird has ties to Savageland and Ka-zar. Ka-zar was one of the original scripts that were wrote when this MCU advanture started.

Vibranium has ties across the board, Wakanda and BP, Savageland and Ka-Zar, Howard Stark (knew but didnt), Raina (has some?), Hydra and Germans were in Antarctica after WWII with Savage Land.

Blue dead body. WWII via AC, AofS, Drawings, . . . Kree or Atlantean or ??

Doesnt Captain Marvel need Mar-Vell and the Kree interaction on earth to become "Super".
