Norman Lee Comic Book Artist for Marvel is Presumed Dead

The search for Norman Lee a artist for Marvel Comics is presumed dead from snorkeling in the Cayman Islands since Thursday.

Lee a talented artistist for Marvel Comics was snorkeling this past Thursday with his wife off the eastern coast of Grand Cayman when Lee was sperated from his wife in the water. According to authorities his wife returned to shore but Lee has been missing nor seen since than.

Searchers and Royal Caribean Police have given up all hope on finding Lee alive after heading a massive search that ended on Saturday.

Both Norman and Jan Lee are residents of Weymouth, Mass. They both worked for Marvel for almost two decades starting out by working on Wolverine Panels. Lee also worked a very impressive career as an illustrator for DC Comics on the "Supergirl" and "Starman" series.

I agree, I saw this news sitting in my news feed and I was waiting for someone to post something for this guy. Thought he deserved some love on a site where fans are really passionate about comic books.

He seems and looks like a cool guy. I really am holding out for him. If he is indeed dead, I do hope he is found anyway, that way his family can send him off as they so choose.

I can't imagine how it would feel to lose a family member like this.
Go snorkeling for an afternoon and simply never return. Too sad to even fully comprehend. RIP Norman Lee.

It's quite rare. Usually, it'll only happen if you're not looking up every now and then to make sure you haven't drifted out too far, but on occasion, there is just a strong current that'll drag you some way off. Just stick closer to shore, it's far less dangerous.
