Bloodshot centres around a reformed mobster who becomes the subject of a government experiment.
Gifted with superpowers but robbed of his memories, he escapes imprisonment and sets out to discover the truth of his past.
Sony Pictures recently acquired the film rights to Bloodshot, after being pitched a spec script written by long-time fan Jeff Wadlow.
The title's creative team is yet to be announced.
