Christian Kane...Wolverine?

Hugh Jackman has made it known that he will soon be ending his run as Wolverine but with a new X-Men universe on the rise, who will be next to good ol' Logan? Well, it appears fan-favorite Christian Kane may have an answer to that.

The WWSTLCC Kickoff Party was highly entertaining thanks to Christian Kane and star of A&E's "Epic Ink" Chris 51. The stars shoot hands, took photos and had a drink or two. Once the interviews and photo ops were done, the two stars made their way to the stage for a quick Q&A session. What was quickly discussed I am certain will be pleasing to many Kane and Wolverine fans. Check out the vid!

Now I know that Kane has been often selected as the primary choice for Wolverine in many fan castings, so I would imagine that this news would be very pleasing to many. Especially, since the current Wolverine, Hugh Jackman, recently announced that he will soon be ending his run as the iconic X-Men. What do you think? I know this is being a bit butthurt, but I would LOVE for the new actor to be close to the 5' 3" ball of muscle that Wolverine is in the comics. Jackman was awesome as Wolverine, but at 6' 2" he is about a foot too tall for the roll. Just sayin, I think it would be sweet to see Wolverine look like he does in the books. I liked Christian Kane in Leverage. I'm not certain he can pull this off though. Also, he's 5' 9". ;)

Wont happen the guy is 40. The biggest reason they would recast is to go younger not get someone the same age

I think Tom Hardy could pull this off since the average male height is becoming six feet. Wen I saw him in Mad Max he reminded me completely of what Wolverine should be, "like a wild animal you can get close to if you're careful and maybe per him but he might still bite you."

I am happy to say I was at Hard Rock Cafe in St. Louis when Christian Kane was talking about Wolverine. I think he would be absolutely perfect! I hope this happens.

He would be awesome as Wolverine! I think it's a role he's wanted to play for a while now, although he mentioned once he'd like to play Gambit. Check out his role as Eliot Spencer on Leverage and I think you'll see that he would make the perfect Wolverine!

Personally I think they shouldn't do a new Wolverine, but instead set up X-23
