FOTC, you really didnt like Clerk II? I loved it. I thought it was his best film since the first Clerks. Zack & Miri was funny too. I understand what you mean about it being an R rated movie for 13 year olds, but were you really expecting anything else?

I [frick]ing love Kevin Smith. I loved Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Zach and Mirir. Clerks was ok and I can tolerate Jersey Girl, but Clerks 2 just sucked. Both the Evenings with were awesome and he friggen rocks the mic.

Man, I think that was just totally rude. To just go up and say "Hey, you're character suck, why don't you make movies without them?" Why would you even bother asking a question like that? If you don't like his movies, that's fine, but that's like a rock in the head man. Frankly, I think if Kevin Smith's Superman Lives ever came onto the screen, that guy would never have said something like that. I don't seem to remember any mention of Jay or Silent Bob in that script.

I saw this footage when it came out last year and it never gets old! LMFAO! Kevin Smith is the f***ing man! He has a line up of hilarious movies and characters, he's smart and funny, not to mention his hot wife! Let me say again...Kevin Smith is the man!

I understand not everyone may like his movies, and thats fine. I personally think they're brilliant. Chasing Amy, we can all relate to that movie in a way.

IMO, his best movie thus far is Dogma. personally, i know it's a parody and not true to the bible or anything, but i'm a Christian, and when i say that, i don't mean some bible-thumping-shove-my-beliefs-down-your-throat Christian, but the real deal (that's what i call it, you'll see why in a second) and i didn't have a single problem with the social commentary in that movie. It is so true everything that the characters say about Catholocism or religion period. It is so true and people got mad because they didn't wanna hear it. but sometimes thats what happens. i mean, look at history. people didn't wanna hear what Abe Lincoln had to say about aboloshing slavery, so he was assasinated. same with MLK Jr. in regards to civil rights. now Kevin Smith hasn't been murdered, but he has said he received death threats about Dogma. it makes people mad when they hear the truth, and that movie has it (in the sense of the social commentary). i don't take a particular religion as my own but rather am just a Christian (which literally meant follower of Christ, and that's exactly what i do, follow Him, and ONLY Him). religion is crap and just a way for man to impart his own set of ridiculous rules and try to pass them off as God-driven when they're not. didn't mean to get all spiritual, but i wanted to say my opinion. again, props to the KS.

His last movie was mildly amusing. But Smith showed he can't improvise. Only the con geeks would suck up to somebody whose time has passed.
