The Marvel Studios panel has ended just a few minutes ago. While it seemed like it finished with another round of Thor footage, the biggest surprise followed as you can see from the updates taken directly from Newsarama's live feed of the event!
AVENGERS TEASER!
The Avengers have assembled on stage.
NICK FURY: Samuel L Jackson, is joined by S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Scarlett Johansson (BLACK WIDOW)
THOR: Chris Hemsworth
CAPTAIN AMERICA: Chris Evans
IRON MAN: Robert Downey Jr.
Jeremy Renner was once again confirmed as HAWKEYE, and Mark Ruffalo is confirmed as BRUCE BANNER, the Incredible Hulk! The rumors there were right.
Joss Whedon, Director of The Avengers, joined the cast on stage after a little riffing by Downey.
"Joss's dream come true"
They posed for pics, and left the stage as quickly as they arrived. Just a tease, guys, it's two years away after all!
