That's right, Christopher Nolan FINALLY made an appearance at Comic-Con! Not an awful lot was given away by the director or star Matthew McConaughey in terms of Interstellar plot details, but a new trailer was shown which is set to be released online within the next few weeks. The response from those lucky enough to have seen it has been overwhelmingly positive! For those of you unfamiliar with the few plot details revealed so far, "Interstellar chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage." The cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine, and a release date of November 7th, 2014 has been set for the movie.

I hear that this director has done some decent, low-budget films. Wonder if they're any good? ;)

@DIAMONDZ

With the way the last two movies of the trilogy fell. It woulnt have worked because they would release right before or around comic con

The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception really aren't the best movies he's made, in my opinion. The Prestige and Memento are his best.

This is the film to make up for the few Oscar snubs. He'll either get both best picture and director or one or the other

I remember that one time when Nolan made that BATMAN BEGINS movie and then, and then the other directors wanted their CBMs to be BATMAN BEGINS too. Then he made that Dark Knight movie that made a billion dollars, the one with Heath Ledger in it. Then he made that Dark Knight Rises and all the mean people here said it wouldn't be successful without Heath Ledger and then, then it like, I don't know, made MORE MONEY than Dark Knight?

Remember when he did that? It was fun.

Strange him coming to comic con. He never used to go because it was a little "beneath" him, him wanting an Oscar and all. And the TDKR was TRASH. I guess people can't have opinions now.

It's not like he needs seats in the theater. People will flock to anything with his name on it.
