I was browsing the interwebs today and noticed Rob Liefeld's twitter. He posted this about an hour ago.

"Woke up this a.m. to GREAT Deadpool movie news! Full steam ahead baby..."

If this is true then I, like many Deadpool fans, just went nuts.

Gotta hope they can't [frick] this one up, but they basically ass [frick]ed the character in BORIGINS!

I have faith in Reynolds. He is Deadpool in my eyes and hopefully Fox thinks so too... i.e. they'll give him and director creative freedom in order to keep him. We can but only hope.

i'm worried about this film,deadpool such cool charactor they won't be able portrayl him how he should be on screen.

just like wolverine toned down for the kiddy audience.

i know i've said this before i'd rather it didn't get made,unless its by marvel.

Hey guys! I'm new joining up but I've been a lurker for almost 6 years now! lol

LEEE777: If Reynolds rocks this and brings the star power he will most likely ad from lantern, I think there's no way Fox "foxes" it up!

The man of a million "comicbook" faces (see what I did there) should be able to pull a lot of strings this time around and that should make many great actors flock to this!
Keyword is "should" though lol

Yes,I already know Ryan will be playing him because recently Deadline gave an update on how he plans to fit Deadpool into his schedule and not only that but his production company Dark Trick films will also be helping produce the Deadpool movie,so this makes me VERY happy.

OMG i came in my pants hehe hopefully ryan will be a true deadpool and make fun of fox for all their [frick] ups. and yeah x men sounds like this first class thing is all [frick]ed up somebody must be putting shrooms in their coffee at fox with all their time line [frick] ups and them [frick]ing up cyclops and jean. I vote for a petition or a all out war for fox to give all their money/movie rights to cbm.com to make a proper x men movie. Whos with me. Huh? who will fight with me? I know Liefeld created Deadpool, but had no hand in the character's popularity.Does he even have anything to do with the character anymore?I don't understand why he would have any information about the movie.

it's a great combination, but deadpool won't come out until the year a man of steel comes out. which is probably the year 2013, so sin city 2 won't come out till 2014 or 2015. my god!

been meaning to join this site so i could post my thoughts, finally did it. i can't say i'm the biggest DP fan just because those of you who post on here know way more than i do about the character. I am a huge fan though. big fan of zombieland, Rob Rod (even though i didn't care for predators cause it's hard to prtray adrien brody as a bad a$$), and Ryan. so with all that being said hopefully a collaboration of people willing to do the movie justice will actually make it worth while, rather than the wolverine version of DP with the MK baraka feel. the ONLY reason i dug wolverine is because it causes excitement when they show DP that they're actually gonna give him his own movie, if they dont F it up. so after my little monologue I say HELL yeah to the moving forward of DP!!!!!
