Deadpool fans hearts will sink at the news that Deadpool will be made in to a kid friendly movie. The wonderful film makers at FOX (yes, you do detect sarcasm) have said they intend to make it a PG-13 film.

I like many others will be very upset with this news. I believe I speak for most of the Deadpool fan base in that we wanted an R rated movie, filled with sly wit, big knives and bigger guns. Yet it looks like we are set for another "X-Men: Origins" nightmare.

I hope the people at FOX get to read this and get the message: STOP MESSING WITH OUR FILMS AND GIVE THE FANS WHAT THEY WANT. WE WANT A KICK ASS DEADPOOL THAT IS MORE ABOUT PLEASING FANS THAN MAKING MONEY!

Well, we have the writers of Zombieland, the director that brought us Planet Terror and Sin City, and we have Ryan Reynolds who is a huge Deadpool fan.

I think with this team together, we will get an R rated Deadpool film

@telavizion actually they said the would make rated R movies down the line, but their main properties like ironman, the hulk, or doctor strange will be PG13.

Look at Lord of the Rings. Look at Pirates of the Caribbean. Look at the Dark Knight.

These are movies full of stabbings, shootings, burnings, beheadings, and in one case, visible intestines being thrown around.

All of these movies were also PG-13.

So, excuse me if I'm not being an overreactive, moronic pissant. I just don't think a film rating is a justified complaint.

If this movie has anything to do with that bs Wolverine Origins or X-Men movies it's gonna suck don't even get your hopes up about this movie I knew they were going to make it PG-13 after I seen how they did Wolverine... they think kids are the only ones that like comicbooks when there main source of fans are in there 20's and up this is Deadpool not Spider-Man folks I guess hes gonna be using guns with rubber bullets like Wolverines rubber claws... GET IT TOGETHER... sell them back to Marvel

And yet again we are setup for X-Men Origins 2 instead of Deadpool due to greed from FOX. I don't understand how they think that this is a good idea...Origins was a disaster...why wouldn't they want to invest in the fans by giving us the R rating? They'd still make money!
being devil's advocate though maybe there is some chance of getting this movie to work...but...wait..no..yea forget what I was about to say but I just remembered the time Deadpool got his head blow off and spattered all over Daredevil's feet...I don't think there's anyway to present the main character is getting basically riddled with bullets and making inappropriate jokes at the same time without gaining an R rating.
I'm going to make a future prediction...

Robert Rodriguez decides not to direct the film cause of FOX's restrictions.
Ryan Reynolds stays on and does Origins: Deadpool.
Movie is a teenie bopper hit with girls 10-21.
Real Deadpool burns down the theater and shoots all of Fox's executives in the face with a flamethrower.

I think thats pretty close.
