To kickstart their month-long Marvel 85th aniversary showcase, Hot Toys has debuted their first official collectible sixth-scale figure from Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine and it spotlights a character that is the best there is at what they do, but what they do best isn't very nice - Hugh Jackman's Wolverine!

While the studio has yet to reveal Wolverine sporting his mask in any of the trailers, the screen-accurate collectible does seemingly give us our best look yet at Jackman's Logan masked up and read for battle. As per the announcement, the collectible features a newly developed masked head sculpt with interchangeable lower faces showcasing different expressions, a highly poseable muscular body, arms made in silicone material with seamless elbows design, carefully tailored costume that replicates his battle outfit, multiple interchangeable hands with attachable bladed claws for additional posing options.

Hot Toys has also confirmed it will be available in a standard edition and a special deluxe edition that includes additional accessories for his alternate look, including an unmasked head sculpt, a pair of interchangeable sleeved arms, and a set of battle-damaged body armors to recreate more scenes.

Expect pre-orders to launch later today!

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman headline the upcoming feature with a confirmed supporting cast consisting of Karan Soni ("Dopinder"), Leslie Uggams ("Blind Al"), Morena Baccarin ("Vanessa Carlysle"), Stefan Kapičić ("Piotr Rasputin/Colossus"), Rob Delaney ("Peter W."), Brianna Hildebrand ("Eloise Phimister/Negasonic Teenage Warhead"), Shioli Kutsuna ("Yukio"), Emma Corrin ("Cassandra Nova"), Matthew Macfadyen ("Paradox"), Jennifer Garner ("Elektra"), Peggy ("Dogpool"), Lewis Tan ("Shatterstar"), Aaron Stanford ("John Allerdyce/Pyro"), and Rob McElhenney.

Several former X-Men and Marvel/Fox cast members as well as a handful of MCU veterans have also been rumored to appear in various capacities - head over HERE to learn out more about who may (or may not) appear in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.

The original Avengers - Chris Evans ("Steve Rogers/Captain America"), Robert Downey Jr. ("Tony Stark/Iron Man"), Chris Hemsworth ("Thor Odinson"), Mark Ruffalo ("Bruce Banner/Hulk"), Scarlett Johansson ("Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow"), and Jeremy Renner ("Clint Barton Hawkeye") - will also appear, albeit only via archival footage from their previous MCU adventures.

However, whether any of them could appear in new scenes remains to be seen, but it should be noted that Chris Evans did previously cameo in Free Guy, a favor which Ryan Reynolds repaid in Ghosted, so it wouldn't exactly be a stretch for Reynolds and Levy to cook up another surprise... or six.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26!

The kittens are out of the bag at this point. Might as well tease it in the next trailer or tv spot. Then show it to us a week later.

@ObserverIO - Between now and the release of the film they might tease the quickest, briefest shot of the mask in a tv spot. I could imagine a shot of it on a table or in a briefcase or closet or on the ground in battle. I doubt they’ll sure any real footage until the release of the film. After its debut, you can expect to see many tv spots showing the mask. Standard studio marketing strategy.

@TheMetaMan - they'll definitely show a glimpse in the final trailer.

@bobevanz - oh man I didn't see it was this guy. He was super arrogant to me the other day claiming he was an extra and whatever. A total douche with star complex while being a goddammit nobody.

@ObserverIO - It’ll be the closing shot of the final trailer for sure. They’ll likely through some of the cameos in there too. They’ve been fairly tight lipped with marketing so far but I expect a few reveals before release.

@ObserverIO - seeing toys and drawings is a huge difference than seeing an actor wearing it in a movie. they should hold off as long as they can. only geeks like us are looking at the toys. the general audience is waiting for that clip.

Beautiful.

It's as close to comic accurate we'll ever get if we get a shot like this in the movie.

@UniqNo - The Multiverse Saga has been a rollercoaster but the costumes have been stellar. Moon Knight, Wolverine, Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Daredevil, Captain America (Wilson), Captain Marvel (The Marvels), Werewolf by Night, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man (Blue + Red) suit.

Considering the amount of material showing the mask now, I really wish they’d shown it first in the last trailer. It seemed perfectly set up to end with a shot of wolverine masked up. We’ll see it soon enough though I guess.

HashTagSwagg
HashTagSwagg - 6/12/2024, 6:56 AM
@HermanM - My guess he'll wear it in the flashback where he supposedly kills/ lets done the x-men and then he takes it off to be all dramatic and sh1t.
IAmAHoot
IAmAHoot - 6/12/2024, 8:47 AM
@HermanM - I know you're just doing it for attention, but why would they spoil it in the trailers? They want a crowd-eruption moment, which can't happen as effectively if they show it early. Between the last trailer coming soon and all the TV Spots, you will eventually be porven wrong (not that you care).

@Dabs - Financial. I hade my favorite version of each hero (Marvel and DC), but had to sell all of them to pay bills, and there's no going back.

But I still like to see them.

Do you collect any of them?

The cowl looks awesome. The suit in general is great. It does highlight how odd Wolverine looks when he's tall though haha.

I also don't trust Hugh to not want to show his face the whole film. Hope to be proven wrong.
