LOGAN Star Hugh Jackman Responds To Ryan Reynolds' DEADPOOL Making His (Unofficial) MCU Debut

Ryan Reynolds recently shared a funny Free Guy trailer reaction video which he touted as Deadpool's official MCU debut, and nemesis Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) has now posted a response on Instagram.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds (or more accurately, Deadpool) have built up a bit of a friendly rivalry over the years, and the Logan star has now responded to the Merc with a Mouth making his (unofficial) Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Reynolds recently shared a video of Deadpool reacting to the new trailer for Free Guy alongside Korg (Taika Waititi), captioning the post: "DP is officially in the MCU! He’s starting with reaction videos, then some social influencer work, onto Parks appearances all leading up to some after-credit work by 2030."

Jackman then added the comment: "Wow! 4:12 and no mention of me. DP your therapy is working!!!"

Of course, this doesn't really mark Wade Wilson's first MCU appearance, but that is going to happen at some point with the release of Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3. Last year, we found out that had 20th Century Fox been able to move forward with a third Deadpool movie, it would have featured a team-up with Jackman's Wolverine, and many fans remain hopeful that we'll still see that little road trip someday.

Hey, with the Multiverse now firmly established, anything is possible!

I'd love to see a Ryan Reynolds/Hugh Jackman Buddy Cop movie.

Hugh Jackman for an ongoing villain role in the MCU.

He's my choice for Norman Osborn.

@Roodi - wow! I would have never, but I love it. Jackman being Hollands Norman... I can see it.

@Roodi - Norman Osborne? I’m trying to see it… I can’t put the two together. I’d have to be surprised at that one.

I want Jackman to make a surprise appearance in one of the first Multiverse-centered movies, with his usual Wolverine look. The character he's actually portraying would of course be one Dave Hardohn, uncle of Ralph Bohner.

@Kyos - keeping with the puke puns like Ralph, his name should be Chuck Hardohn.

@ElricReturns - I had no idea Ralph was a puke pun. You learn something new every day. :D

@Kyos - I doubt they chose it for that purpose... then again his last name is a boner joke.

But yeah, at least in America RALPHING is known as puking.

Lmao… he finally got in to the MCU, he don’t need Jackman to pull strings for him anymore. 😂

But seriously I’d love to see a Jackman cameo in the MCU Deadpool movie. They can make a Wolverine cameo were Jackman quits right in the middle of his scene.

OT:
Did anyone si Oliver Ritcher confirm (?) that his character in the movie is Ursa Major, the MCU’s first mutant ?
I think he’s speaking out of line but I’m not sure haha

It's been long enough. I'm ready for DP to at least cameo in an MCU project at this point.
