Hot off the heels of the news that Marvel Studios has delayed its entire Phase 4 slate, Disney has made more massive changes to its release schedule thanks to the coronavirus pandemic which has put Hollywood on hold.
Mulan has moved to July 24, 2020, moving Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt's Jungle Cruise to July 30, 2021. That's a huge delay for the latter, but with productions also on hold, Disney is seemingly looking to the future and thinking about ways to fill out the 2021 release calendar.
Ryan Reynolds-led comedy Free Guy has slid from July 3, 2020 to December 11, 2020. West Side Story (December 18, 2020) and The Last Duel (December 25, 2020) remain unchanged.
Wes Anderson's The Fresh Dispatch moves from July 24, 2020 to October 16, 2020, and the new Indiana Jones (which is still eyeing James Mangold to direct according to Deadline) has shifted from July 9, 2021 to July 29, 2022. The Personal History of David Copperfield, Antlers, Woman in the Window, and The New Mutants remain undated with new dates like to be revealed soon.
Oddly, Pixar's Soul is the only Disney movie which hasn't moved as its still planned for a June release.
