While we wait to see if Gal Gadot's time as Wonder Woman is indeed over, the Fast and Furious actress is looking forward to the live-action Snow White musical.

Recently, Gal Gadot sat down with GQ to answer some pressing online questions about the  Israeli actress, in an effort to promote her upcoming Netflix action movie, Heart of Stone.

Unfortunately, this interview didn't address any of the questions swirling around Gadot's return as Wonder Woman in James Gunn's new DC Studios cinematic universe, but one query did reveal that Gadot had to audition for the role of Evil Queen in Disney's upcoming live-action Snow White film, which is a musical. 

As seen in the video above, Gadot confirmed that she actually had to audition for the role of the Evil Queen.

"That is correct. So yes, I'm gonna play the Evil Queen. It was the first time I kind of had to audition for a project in a while. They needed to make sure I can sing because this is a musical. So for a month, I was working on the song and then I auditioned, we filmed the song and I got the part. It was very exciting. It was so much to shoot because it was so different than anything I've ever done. It's so delicious and delightful and I could really go big and theatrical. I can't wait for you to watch this movie."

The anti-woke movement is presently deriding the unreleased film, due to statements from the actress playing the film's titular protagonist, Rachel Zegler, and leaked set photographs that allegedly reveal a more varied rendition of the seven dwarfs.

The live-action Snow White film is directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man), who filmed the project based on a script written by Barbie director Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson (The Girl on the Train).

In addition to Zegler and Gadot, the film also stars Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, and Andrew Burnap as Jonathan.

Gadot and Zegler's live-action musical follows the somewhat recent, Snow White and the Huntsman, a 2011 live-action Snow White film starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, and Sam Claflin.

However, the key difference with that picture is that it was produced by Universal Pictures and was based on the original Brothers Grimm German fairytale. Disney's musical will be a more faithful rendition of the more familiar 1937 animated classic.

Disney's live-action Snow White musical is currently set for release on March 22, 2024. Filming wrapped on the project a day before the SAG-AFTRA strike began on July 14, 2023.

First of all, no one is trying to derail this. The industry is, by going along with woke politics despite the obvious signs people don't want this and how it blatantly goes against the original.

Second, not allegedly. Those photos were confirmed by disney to be from the set (they denied it at first, but when it was clear they were lying they backtracked their statement saying it's not an official photo and that's just a stand in for snow white). So yes, this movie is genuinely doing the 7 dwarves where only one is actually a little person and the rest are full sized people in cheap costumes.

There was ABSOLUTELY ZERO reasons to write that. It had ZERO to do with the main thrust of this article. I suspected and said I believe they are doing the current thing by leaning heavily into divisive topics because they know it drives the most traffic. They have removed all doubt.

@Origame - Yeah I saw this video last year. It's very well done. Unfortunately he's preaching to the choir. I doubt anyone who is in the identity cult will ever realize what they're actually doing. It's much easier to stay in the echo chamber and call the people you perceive as your enemy one of the "Ists" or "Isms"

But there is a silver cloud to this. People are starting to groan every time the topic is brought up. Not just the "Hitler loving, Nazi, fascist, reactionary, evil, far right and whatever other name they can pull out of their ass". But normal audiences are beginning to get turned off by this.

I heard even the Oscars are backing off a bit on the mandates, and some companies are backing off of the ESG nonsense and some DEI positions are going away. It's a start, but there is a lot of damage left to be undone.

"Woke" is actually very easy to define:

A buzzword created to cover for communist ideology (basic left wing policies). Used to describe what they view as "enlightened awareness" of perceived "social injustices," typically affecting people they consider to be "marginalized" or "oppressed." A "woke" person is preoccupied with seeking out and grieving this injustice at every possible opportunity. In a non-leftist context, "woke" is often used as a pejorative to describe those who hold these preoccupations and view the world using the related assumptions. Most ordinary people are not "woke."
