Derrickson is a great director. The Exorcism of Emily Rose is one of my favourite movies. And you can't argue with the cast and rumoured cast. Phenomenal talent all around.

Yet, I still can't get my anticipation level up for Strange. There is so much coming out in 2016 with Deadpool, Civil War, BvS, Suicide Squad, Apocalypse...this movie is getting lost in the middling ground for me.

Once people start seeing the visuals of Dr. Strange on screen, there will be no doubters. Get ready for some psychedelic, mystical imagery.

This is actually the one Marvel movie I'm really excited about seeing...being a long time Dr. Strange: Master Of The Mystic Arts fan...this will be a little bit different tone of movie from what Marvel has been putting out recently...very dark and surreal but totally awesome...I'm really hoping they can pull it off.

@MARVELPSYCHO70

Yeah, I'm having the same issue with the Gambit film. Again, the director is great. I thought Rise of the Planet of the Apes was brilliant (I like it more than Dawn). But I have issues with the lead actor in both films. Tatum is questionable as an actor for me, and I believe both him and Cumberbatch are miscasts. But, I'm much more invested with Gambit as a character, so my anticipation is slightly higher for Gambit. Plus, Fox's recent history is extremely good, and Fantastic Four, Deadpool, and Apocalypse all look great (IMO).

I think both movies are theatre trips for me, but they're just not as exciting as the bigger movies coming out.

This one looks worse than Ant-Man on paper but Marvel has proved me wrong before. They're really reaching with this one.

I love Strange. I have a lot of the early books. I'm really excited to see how Derrickson adapts the origin, if this an origin story.
