The Croods (out this Friday), Cage is asked if there are any other characters he would be interested in playing. Even though he's "open to anything", he doesn't sound like he's in a hurry to return to the genre. However, he does suggest that he'd be interested in playing a certain Sorcerer Supreme.
"I'm open to anything. I just, y'know, want to try something else, try something new. Doctor Strange is interesting, but I don't know. Right now I'm in a phase where I'm more interested in going back to my roots and doing independently spirited dramatic films. That's sort of what I'm in process with right now.
