While Marvel Studios may have only recently announced the start of Doctor Strange's production, set photos taken in Nepal confirmed that the Phase 3 movie has actually been shooting for weeks. Now, as more details come out, Sinsiter writer C. Robert Cargill has taken to Twitter to confirm that he's spent the past year working on the screenplay for director Scott Derrickson. Expanding on the Tweet below, he also took to Facebook to say: "It’s not a secret anymore. For those of you who don’t know what I’ve been doing for the past year, I’ve been writing DOCTOR STRANGE for Marvel Studios. And I couldn’t be happier or prouder. Our cast and crew are amazing and I’m having the best time." These guys have a fair bit of history together, as does the Doctor Strange script. After intially being penned by Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (Conan the Barbarian), Jon Spaihts (Prometheus) took a crack at it before Cargill performed the final rewrite.

Sinister was a decent movie, until they showed the Bagul (Baghul? Bagool? Magluul???) That thing looked like bad cosplay. Otherwise, it was pretty well written, so I'm pumped. By far my most anticipated Marvel movie. Actually, my ONLY anticipated Marvel movie lol.

If you doubt this guy, read Dreams and Shadows. That book is pretty damn good. He knows magic that's for damn sure. He also knows his Marvel comics if you listen to him on his podcasts.

Is it just me, or does the top left hand corner of @JoshWilding profile picture look like a flame penis?

I hope it's not me. It's not like I have any latent homosexual tendencies...

Okay, good, because Spaight's is good at building worlds and making them very cool(I recommend reading his black list script shadow19, its really cool sci fi) , but I think he struggles with characters, his new movie passengers(which I also read on blacklist before it got picked up obviously) has characters with absolutely no distinguishable traits, in fact the only 2 human characters are rather boring. Robert really knows his shit, and the fact that he has a good working relationship with Scott will really propel this film in the right direction. Man, my hype ACTUALLY went up, despite that this is my most anticipated film of next year. I'm so glad.

I really hope we're in for something special, I think Marvel, as of late, has been making less and less mistakes, and their number of breakout films( and I mean, people going gaga and quoting the shit out them type of films) are increasing. Let's hope this is another "Guardians" so to speak in the sense it is visually jaw dropping and beautiful, as well as mind boggling, while introducing an entirely different part of the MCU, oh, and most likely making the good Doctor a fan favorite among casual( maybe even comic book) fans who were never even interested in him. So much potential with the character alone, and the cast increases the potential ten-fold.
