Following the news that Amy Landecker has signed on, The Wrap reports that Scott Adkins has also joined the cast of Marvel's Doctor Strange in an undisclosed role. He'll star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Though the character he's playing is being kept under wraps, apparently he'll "have several major action scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat." Well, that's pretty much a given - but is there an established Marvel superhero or villain that fits the bill here? Be sure to sound off with your theories below.
Scott Derrickson directs the mystical comic book adventure, which tells the tale of neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), "who after a horrific car accident discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions."
Doctor Strange hits theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
